I don't understand why the rating is so low because this is the best Chinese food in Alberta! Nothing in Calgary even is this good. And the owner is so friendly!

Went out to enjoy the dinner buffet with my sister tonight. The food was mediocre at best. It was all quite dry and lacked flavour. However, that was not our biggest problem with this place. When we arrived at our table, there were ants on the table top and on the wall next to the table. The restaurant was completely silent, no music or any sort of background noise making it a very awkward dining experience. Also, when we went up to see what there was for any dessert options, my sister picked up a small piece of cake only to find it was completely frozen and she was unable to eat it. Subpar.

I ordered the deluxe dinner for 2 and it wasn't even close to a dinner for 2. It was a dinner for 1. And the next day after having the food I couldn't get off the toilet so for that I won't be back. I was truly disappointed

Ignore the negative reviews. This place is a gem. It's a mom & pop operation and the food is excellent. Sometimes the owners have to step out and run errands. Not the end of the world. Sometimes they go on vacation. They always put a sign on the door if they're going to be closed. They're not really internet users so don't rely on the google for details. Call ahead to be sure. Nobody who eats here on a regular basis reads or cares about these reviews anyway. But if you're from out of town and unsure let me put your mind at ease.
For the freshest food order off the menu. If you have more than 3 people it makes more sense to order off the menu anyway since you'll get fresher food than the buffet, you'll get exactly what you want, and it will cost the same or less than the buffet. For example, four of us ate dinner here the other day and we ordered lemon chicken which is never on the buffet. We ordered 4 dishes and dinner was cheaper than if the four of us had ordered the buffet. The savings really add up if you have 5 or more.
I've eaten here dozens of times. My favorites are cantonese noodles with pork, lemon chicken, sweet & sour pork, wonton soup, and chicken balls sauce on the side. The wanton soup is the best I've ever had. The broth is amazing. Don't hesitate. You'll love this place. Just remember you're in a town of 4000 people. Not a michelin star restaurant in Beijing.

I went to this establishment about 1 month ago, and when I walked in, I was greeted by this little Asian kid at the counter. When I went to order, he kept cutting me off. On top of this, he also called me slurs, many of which I will not be repeating. I can't believe how they'd let this kid work here.The food, on the other hand, was okay at best. I ordered some fairly basic menu items to give it a try. These consisted of ginger beef and chicken balls. The chicken balls were cooked very well, but the beef was dry and chewy.Overall, my visit was not so great and it wasn't enjoyable.P.S. That kid at the front desk needs to start at the Nike factory to teach him a lesson.
Great food and Good Service. I only order off the menu for perfect freshness. Highly recommend. I think the food is better than any Chinese restaurant in Lethbridge!!

Good luck trying to get a hold of them. Hours are horrible. They aren’t open when they say they are. Missing business due to inconsistency. Would not recommend.
