The rudeness of the staff here continues to blow my mind every time I come in.
Currently staying at the hotel next door, so it's convenient but we're to a point of walking further down the road to avoid this place.
We were the only customers when we walked in. Didn't acknowledge us while the manager and another employee had a chit chat. Finally the manager told the kid he should probably pay attention to the (only) customer, waiting to order. Kid takes the order, says barely a word, and they resume their chat before the receipt even prints. It was left forgotten.
But the part that gave me a good giggle was when the manager hollared my partners order number out into the dining room, as though we weren't the only people inside the building. 🤣 and since we didn't get a receipt or order number.. we had to assume it was ours haha.
Anyhoos. When the manager is acting like an untrained teenager, it's time to move onto a new location. This place is not for us. ✌️

Staff was extremely rude. Asked for a combo and they only gave me the burger then when I said I ordered a combo they said I didn't tell them. Made me pay full price for the fries. Had so many staff standing around when there's no one there and didn't acknowledge customers unless forced to.

November 11, 2025 around 11:15am. If you are going to make a customer wait to make a breakfast sandwich please have a designated parking area for those customers waiting for their food. I didn’t appreciate being chastised by an employee “next time park where we can see you”. Needless to say the food was cold.

Several extremely rude staff members at this location. I sometimes get breakfast here, both drive through and in restaurant and have encountered rude people taking/serving orders. If you don’t like your job, get a different one, don’t take it out on customers. I won’t be returning! Do yourself a favour if you want A&W and stop in at the Bowden location, very friendly, nice staff there that don’t hate their jobs!

I was very shocked at the price I almost $20. I love the onion rings here but for the last few times I find that a lot of the coating ends up in the bag it comes in. Not sure what causes that but it's really annoying. The service was good. May not go to a&w again after this.

This place is the cleanest restaurant ever! Stopped in for a coffee and found a pristine dinning room. Clean windows, tables and stainless steel counter tops. All staff were polite and well dressed. The manager (I hope), didn't get her name (feather tattoo on right for arm) was an absolute rock star! Things got a little busy, she rolls in from the middle of her break. Jumps in and lends a hand. Checks that all the staff have what they need and then carries on. She should be moved up to the corporate level.
Don't bother stopping anywhere else. This place is the best place to eat.
