Best and most Authentic southern THAI food in Central Alberta.
After moving back to Canada from Thailand, I have been searching for traditional Thai cooking. Better Bee Cooking hits the spot for Southern Thai food. Only thing I cannot find and miss the most is Khao Soi from north Thailand.

Was trying to find a Thai restaurant nearby and found this place, so I went in with my friend. I ordered Som tam, Red curry, Yum woonsen and Chicken satay for appetizer. The foods are sooo good, the ingredients are fresh and the food came out freshly hot cooked. If I have a chance I’ll go try more menu 🫶

Visiting Red Deer for a pit stop and have heard of this place through a friend so we decided to try it out. This restaurant has a signature color which is Yellow like a bee. Yellow on the restaurant sign and yellow on the inside which I think it really suits the theme. There are plenty of seatings which include tables and booths. I liked how they have the background music on while we eat, it helps with my appetite lol. Staff were very friendly and polite. They recommended me to get Peek Gai Yad Gai (Stuffed Chicken Wings) and Boy! They were really good! It comes in 4 big pieces and inside is stuffed with minced chicken meat, corn, carrots and green peas. You can dip with chicken sauce or without it. We were blown away by how good it tasted and we were wondering how they made it. But I know for sure it must not be easy. That’s why we really were happy getting to try it. The chicken satay also is a must try. The flavor is so rich and reminds me of Thailand. We will try all the other appetizers next time we come back here lol.
Note: There’s no other kinds of drinks besides water.

I'm here eating the Red Curry and coconut rice right now. This place is great. If you enjoy Thai food, this is a great option in Red Deer. It's not fancy but it's very clean and comfortable. I'll return...lots!
Red curry 3 pepper hot was great and was my favorite. My friends enjoyed their noodle dish

The service is great super friendly and all. The food portion and price makes up for the lack in flavour. The Tom kha was missing the sour and coconut taste, it had no lemon grass or ginger in the soup but it was filled with chicken and mushrooms. The pad see-iew can’t say much about it tasted like plain noodles. Pad kee-mao which was recommended by the waiter was by far the tastiest dish and I would order again. 5 dollars for a small serving of plain rice was kinda steep.

take out order- friendly staff and good portion size but unfortunately it was very bland..only had 3 little shrimp in the entire pad Thai..was just alot of plain noodles with hardly anything else.
