I recently bought the Flying Peach coffee, alongside the Frooty Loops Gesha bags of coffee. Honestly speaking, these are one of the best coffees I ever had at home. The prices are very fair, and I am going to - for sure - buy again. That is, if the Gesha ever comes back in stock.

Coffee is great. Beer selection is great. Only reason of giving it 2* is because, since they opened, which is years now, is their awareness of patrons. I’ve often stood for 2 or more minutes for them to recognize there are people lined up for service. Also I have observed service people doing the same thing with other patrons. Too much chatting among the servers themselves. When I was in customer service, we were taught to keep eyes upfront, directed to the area of service. If you didn’t address within seconds, you aren’t doing your job. Do better. Other than that, everything is amazing.

We always enjoy going to the B\\RDY Cafe at the end of our trip to the Gasoline Alley Market. Today we ordered what we always do, a beer and a latte at 3:25 pm. Yes we ordered knowing that the business closes at 4:00 pm. Asked for the latte to be served in a mug but got a paper cup and we were told by the young man that “we are closing soon”. Last time I looked 4:00 pm is about 35 mins away from 3:25 pm when the order was placed. Keep in mind the beer was served in a glass. Not much different washing a glass than a mug.

We held our wedding at the Market Kitchen and the staff of Birdy Coffee served drinks all night long. They were all amazing and took care of all of the guests so well. The beers, the coffee, the atmosphere it was a huge hit. Ryan and his team were outstanding. We cannot thank them enough. We will be back for many coffee dates as the coffee there is so good.

10/10 lovely people that love coffee. I’m not a coffee drinker but the servers know how to recommend drinks to conservative coffee drinkers and coffee connoisseurs alike. I really enjoyed their Mont Blanc but I personally come for their matcha. I think it’s the best in all of Red Deer. Hand whisked with ceremonial grade matcha. The place is clean and their presentation is impeccable. They also sell their own brand of coffee. I would definitely recommend coming in to check out their fun bird themed coffee display if ur a coffee lover. Hands down best coffee shop and perfect place to just chill and do work with a plethora of seating options.

First of all, this was one of the cutest markets I've ever seen. Once we got to Birdy, we were already pleasantly surprised by the environment, super inviting! Birdy's caramel iced cappuccino was very good, as was the chai tea latte. The staff was super friendly!
