The wait was a bit long but the service was amazing! We ordered an appetizer and it didn't come before our meal (which we didn't have a problem with) but the waitress just took it off our bill, which was so kind! The food was so delicious and for the 50% off day it was so reasonable! Highly recommend!
We booked a table at Blanco Cantina for our staff meeting, and while it was loud, it was a great energetic atmosphere, and was easy to focus on each other. There were not a ton of TV's calling for distraction, and the waitress was amazingly respectful of our talks.
Our family had lunch here. We thought that the atmosphere was quaint, it does have an authentic Mexican feel. The food had good flavour and it was very authenticly Mexican. My Margarita was different, I have traveled extensively through Mexico for business and pleasure and have enjoyed Margarita's in many of the places I traveled to. This Margarita was not the best I have had. I would give this Margarita a 1 out of 5.We finished eating payed the bill and carried on with our day. We all started feeling a little sick shortly after leaving the restaurant and the entire family was ill for the remainder of the day. I don't recommend this restaurant from our experiences we had.
Loved our dining experience here. The staff was super friendly, polite and efficient. The food took a while, but man was it worth the wait!! Delicious food and beautiful atmosphere, especially in the outdoor patio. We will be returning for sure! Highly recommend
Was really excited to try for the first time. Was a major disappointment. Took the family out for lunch. The food was dry and not very good. Quite bland and small portions. Paid almost $200 for mediocre food. It was also super slow service considering there was only 3 tables.
Went during happy hour. Tacos were very good and the service was exceptional. Only downside I would say is if you want extras on your tacos you have to buy them separately, so sour cream, salsa, guacamole, cheese is an extra .50 cents per Taco.Good price during happy hour, 1 Taco was $3 and tequila drinks were $6.
We have been out to Blanco's many times. In the past I have had good service. This was my second visit during Happy Hour on Taco Tuesday. We arrived at 4:15. There were 3 other tables. However, after we were offered water we waited over 30 minutes to get a drink. We attempted to get the attention of one of the 2 people serving several times, but it didn't work. More staff came in as we waited, they started serving new tables. We were finally able to order food at 5:00. We almost missed Happy Hour all together. The tacos were good. But we won't be back for a while.
Waited close to an hour and a half for our food.It was 2 o'clock and besides 1 other larger group it was not very busy. Not sure if this was just a bad day or the usual service time as it was the 1st time we went. But it seemed insane to wait that long just for some tacos.Food was tasty though, and they did offer a small discount for the inconvenience
We just tried this restaurant yesterday for the first time and we're so upset we didn't try it sooner. Best Mexican food we've had since being in the southern U.S. and the staff was so pleasant and professional. Thank you so much for a great experience and we'll be back very soon!!!
Nice atmosphere...it went downhill from there. our (bored, unenthusiastic) waitress eventually got around to wiping down the table we had chosen, and after a few minutes, brought menus. Good selection , BTW. No water to the table, then another wait...finally she showed up, and asked if we would like a drink. Another wait, must have had to thaw out the strawberries for the Margarita..... Drinks arrived, along with a bowl of nacho chips, and salsa...about a tablespoon... we enjoyed the (tasty) salsa, which was soon cleaned up. and I asked (three times, two different waitresses) for more salsa. Another little disposable cup of salsa, this time about two tablespoons (yay)....another fairly lengthy wait, asked for another corona light, fairly quick return on this one, only 7 minutes. The food arrived!!! Chicken fajitas, and "steak" fajitas. The chicken one was quite tasty, and the refritos and rice were well seasoned, and really good. The steak fajitas, on the other hand, were tasty, but they must have ran out of beef, and substituted someones' boot-sole. ( noticed a busboy who appeared to have an uneven gait..) now...for the punchlines....this slow-fast-food repast , including two corona lights, and a strawberry margarita, came to 85$, and nestled in amongst the items, was a charge of .50cents , for that EXTRA helping of salsa.... so, in conclusion, if you want a good plate of fajitas? Go to Montanas, or Las Palmeras....if you want good service? Go ANYWHERE else.....We WON'T be going back...

The tacos weren't great. We've been coming here for a long time and always love it. This time, the pork wasn't fresh - it looked dry and reheated. The fish and the shrimp were extremely oily. We were disappointed by the meal on Sunday.
Had the lunch special, we both had the classic burrito, came with chips, red sauce, and guacamole, large portions!!! Should have shared one order!! Very good.
Went with a few people and waited over 30 minutes and all we got was water and the server completely ignored us the whole time. As we were all starving, we walked out and upon us letting a group coming in know that they aren't taking orders, the server who had spent the whole time we were there ignoring us, suddenly appeared and gave us a mouthful about the dishwasher not working. Not sure why he couldn't have told us that as we waiting, and instead chose to ignore us until we walked out. Some of the WORST service I've had at a restaurant.
Went in late for Red Deer, super friendly staff, great drinks. Food was cooked perfectly. Popcorn shrimp were impressive!
I loved everything about the place, it's very clean and every Friday night starting at 9 they have a DJ with his own dance lights, some tables are moved so anyone can dance
Vegetarian options: They had a few options for vegetarian and glutton free, parking is good
