We came to this coffee shop looking for a new weekend cafe. I asked for almond milk in a latte I was ordering for my husband. He has a severe dairy allergy (anaphylactic). When I got the latte I double checked if it was almond and they said it wasn’t. One of the men working (older of the 2) looked at my order and got very irritated and said he didn’t charge me for it. I told him that I asked for it and I would pay the extra $1. I told him it’s an anaphylactic allergy and I asked for almond. He kept shaking his head and was visibly irritated/angry. Horrible service for a mistake that wasn’t even mine. I’m very careful when it comes to anything for my husband and 100% remember asking for almond milk. We will not be returning, I could not believe how rude and disrespectful that service was. A simple apology and “we will get another one started” was all it would take to retain a customer. Horrible experience, would not recommend.
