I didn’t expect to have a world class meal travelling through Red Deer, in a place called Gasoline Alley no less. A few pictures and reviews tipped us off, and when we showed up and saw the little operation I recognized it was not an ordinary spot. The meats were all local and brilliant quality. I cut the steak with my fork. The bread that hosted the poached eggs was absolutely fantastic - soft inside and crispy outside, with a cornbread like texture. The toppings were subtle, balanced and complimenting neighbouring flavours.

The steak eggs benny was absolutely delicious. The quality of the eggs was very good, nice golden yolks poached to perfection. Garlic potatoes and a nice salad. I recommend pairing with a coffee from birdy and sitting in the upstairs area.

Unbelievably good. The muesli was all homemade and wonderfully delicious with fresh fruit, berry preserve, granola bar, and a few other wonderful surprises.
The striploin benny was excellent as well.
Service was very friendly and the care and attention the chef puts into the dishes was excellent to watch
