Had a peanut butter cookie, it was okay. Nothing special and bought fresh roasted espresso beans from them and they were okay. Had better store bought espresso beans. Maybe will try again.
City Roast is Red Deer's best café, imo. It is cozy, welcoming and a wonderful spot to read over lunch or coffee or to visit. They have fantastic coffee and equally fantastic food. I had a bowl of beef barley soup with what really tasted like in-house baked whole grain bread. So good.
Best little coffee shop in red deer. They have the best food ever and I beleive and im not 100% but I believe they make all there own food from scratch... best carrot cake in the city. I have been going here since 1998 when I was attending. Marvel college just down the street.
