Closes before the actual listed closing time. Not sure when this practice became so popular among businesses but closing 15 or more minutes before your listed closing time in my opinion is poor practice.

Went to go get food and they were closed half an hour before they close, no lights on, no one inside. Empty. If you’re going to close at an earlier time then change the hours

50-50 chance of getting your order accurate. Went inside to order to go as the line up for drive through was excessive. Was minimally staffed and slow to be received. Restaurant had maybe 3 patrons. Ordered 3 of the same combos, with the exception that one was a single patty burger and other 2 were double patty. Requested that all have “no-mayo” Received order and bag felt light, so I checked at counter and only received 2 combos, not 3. Chatted with the girl and she provided the other burger and fries. Took meals to truck and divided up to the kids while in the parking lot. Ended up with 2 single combos and a double rather than the 2 doubles and single that was ordered. All had the mayo in them. Kept the one double with child one as he was starving and willing to eat it. Took the remaining 2 singles in and showed receipt to staff (crew change had just happened) had order corrected, but timing was ridiculous to do so. I was offered a couple of free sundae coupons, which I declined. (Frustration level was in the red) The bag received back for the remaining burger correction was covered in grease stains. The burger wrappers and buns were saturated in grease. Just gross. I love DQ burgers and ice cream, but I will avoid this DQ in the future. Of all the DQ’s in Red Deer, this one is the poorest for service and quality.

Went there to try the new mix bowl mash up which is brownie batter and cookie dough , I asked for a large with extra cookie dough coming to 10$ and the lady who took my order said cookie dough extra cookie dough blizzard so I corrected her, I get my order and I drive off , and realize there's no brownie matter and this blizzard looks like cookie dough so I went back for the manger to tell me thats how the mixing bowl mash looks like and is, is chocolate sauce and cookie dough.
She didn't offer to fix it or add more *chocolate sauce* to make it look like what was advertised but instead tried to corrected me and told me thats the way it is.

This one and timberstone are the 2 in red deer that won't customize your burger how you want it. Great if you like things how they are on the menu but not if you wish to add things to your burger and make it improved. ( could be just the staff at that time of visit but tried twice and got told they couldn't add things that weren't already on the burger, only take items off)

Waited 15 minutes for one chicken wrap while my burger was sitting on the counter waiting. By the time the chicken was ready the burger was cold. Bad experience.

I had the opportunity to dine here and it was an excellent experience, the staff is very friendly, always with a gentle smile, despite being a chain restaurant it definitely feels like dining at home, I was able to personalize my Blizzard without any problem, without a doubt a highly recommended place.

Standard dairy queen. Ordered for adult daughter and 2 granddaughters and they messed up one of the orders. They did correct their mistake but took their time doing it. Overall nothing significantly good or bad.
