Went to the Opal In Sky show on Feb 7. My roommate grabbed me an "old fashioned" and it was basically water with a spherical Ice Cube and taheen. There were no other flavors, and basically no liquor in the drink. Sorry to say, that's NOT how you make an old fashioned. 2 oz. Whiskey, simple syrup, bitters, orange peel garnisj and/or expressing the orange peel over a drink.
Clearly NOT taheen and water. Greg from HTG is rolling over in his future grave he doesn't even inhabit yet.

First time here, took my kids for Karaoke. We had a blast! We stayed until 12:30am in a Saturday night and there wasn't a huge crowd. We ordered pizza and a salad. The 2 for 1 pizza is only for take out which was disappointing because 1 regular cheese/pepperoni pizza was 30 dollars and there were 6 of us. I had a salad and it was 20 bucks, not really worth it as it was a super basic chef salad with a weird dressing on it. BUT karaoke was a BLAST!! Because there wasn't a ton of people in there we got towing quite a bit compared to other karaoke nights I've gone to. It was a bit irritating that the karaoke host kept taking a turn even though there were plenty of guests who wanted to sing and were in the queue. Which was cool because they did the karaoke electronically with a QR code that let us pick our song and put our names in. He didn't allow doubles which I totally understand, but sometimes our group had 1 person who wanted to sing with another person and then the next song was with 2bdifferent people and he wouldn't let us do that. Or if our group, even if they were completely different people, because we were at the same table, he'd skip over us and come back to us later, but it's not a huge deal. There's a little dance floor upfront that people were dancing on. Overall, a super fun night that's kid friendly Karaoke and local and not sketchy.

Parking: Located downtown where it's paid parking during the day but at night and on weekends, it's free

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly Karaoke. Onenof very few in the city.

My friend told me this was the worst pizza hes every tried so i had to come and see for my self. Honestly, one of the worst pizza experiences I’ve had. The crust was rock solid, toppings were stale, and there was barely any sauce. The cheese tasted like it had been sitting out all day, and the whole thing was bland. The garlic bread was wonder bread and butter, and even the soda was flat! Not worth the money or the calories. Would not recommend. 0/10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There’s some shady stuff happening with these reviews. There’s absolutely no way that people are raving about a place that is serving frozen food, especially at this price. 2 for 1 small pizza and a single side for $30?? And it’s very clearly frozen, low quality produce. Save your money and go somewhere else, literally anywhere else

Edit: I agree I parked badly haha, it’s not personal at all I’m sure you’re a nice guy but the pizza was just not good. I hate to leave bad reviews, but it’s pretty clear the 5 star reviews are fake, and since they mislead me I just figured I’d let other people know what to expect. I hope the food and service improves and you’re able to turn things around, good luck to you.
