My boyfriend and I came in to grab drinks for our walk, i wanted a hot drink because it’s cold out, so i ordered a vanilla matcha made warm, he ordered a honey matcha made iced. We were given 2 iced drinks, his he really enjoyed; mine was obviously not the right order (hot) and there was no vanilla, just matcha. I didn’t have the heart to have her know it was incorrect, i know matcha is kind of time consuming to make. We did watch the task of our drinks being made be crossed between a few different employees. It just ended up being tossed, wasn’t vanilla or warm. just disappointing

Used to love going to Dose and not sure what happened. Unfortunately seems like the customer service has completely disappeared. It used to be good last summer but now I feel like you barely get a hello and the staff just on the phones. Sad because it’s a small local coffee shop but feels like you’re at some big chain where you’re just a number. Will continue to support the small business but sad the customer service is what it is

My friend and I went in after our walk on Monday October 21st for hot drink.
I went to the counter, Roland told me we close at 4. I asked what time it was he replied 3:15. I thought it was very rude for him to say this to me. I ordered my drink. Then my friend ordered hers. I used the washroom. Came back and noticed my Chai Latte was green. I told my friend think I have yours? She said no. I then went up told Roland there was a mistake he replied, no your Chai Latte is there and her my friend Matcha is there too. Neither one of us ordered Matcha. He did not care nor did he do anything about it! Seemed to be in a rush to get us out of there.
Guess what we won’t Be Back!
Our group of walkers stop here every Saturday while the weather is nice. Drinks, treats and especially service is always great.

Fantastic local coffee shop with a great atmosphere. I am never disappointed when stopping in. Definitely a gem in Red Deer if you are into specialty coffee.
They have a great selection of baked goods and some bagged beans to go. I tried the banana cake and it was to die for.

In the past I have frequented this establishment semi regularly, as I do love coffee shops that aren’t huge franchises like Starbucks. However this changed after my last visit where myself and the person who was with me experienced a barista manager be extremely rude to her staff in front of patrons. I have worked in hospitality for several years now, having been a supervisor to employees in the past and can say from personal experience it’s never ok to be publicly rude and flat out mean to employees both in front of customers as well as in private. It’s a complete abuse in power and aligns with stories I have heard from past employees but never believed until witnessing this. Needless to say we were extremely unsettled and left immediately and will not be returning to this establishment which in the i past truly loved.
