I have never been so disgusted with a buffet in my life. I wish I could give zero stars. My daughter and I showed up around 2 pm on Wednesday for the lunch buffet which is supposed to end at 3:30pm. Every single dish was either cold, dried out or empty. Even the soups had a dried out thick film on top. We spent $17 per person to eat almost nothing as none of it was edible. It made me sick ... literally. I was so disgusted it made me nauseous, my stomach was upset for hours. The staff practically ignored us after they sat us. We paid, left and will NEVER go back.

Coming here from backcountry camping did not disappoint! The options of food, the flavour were all so good! I loved the variety, there was something for everyone. But personally, this place had really great chinese food! And the food kept tasting fresh!! I loved the dessert options too! If you’re in Red Deer, this is a must!!

A bit pricey, but it's a very good buffet. It's almost always busy, so the food is fresh and hot. They cook in smaller batches and refill as it empties, so there isn't a huge pan of food just sitting out. They even have a bit of dim sum, which is fantastic. I didn't try the more niche items because I'm a scaredy cat, but the pork dumplings were very good. Half the buffet is western fare, so there's something here to feed everyone.

First time being there, on our way to Calgary from red deer. We were so hungry. And this place didn't disappoint. The one thing I really liked, that they don't have a huge selection, therefore the quality of the food was so good! I personally, do not like buffets, when they have too many options, cause the quality, usually isn't great. Hard to fo quality control. So the food was really good. Especially, roast beef. I had a huge piece! Our server was Lyn. Very kind and sweet lady. She was on top of things. Not skipping a beat! Very friendly. And she was working hard. Running around, making sure everyone had everything. Very impressed with her service. Definitely, coming back! Service is great, food is very good! So to everyone, that wants quality buffet for a good price and great service, this is the place to go! You won't regret it.

And they’re rushing everyone out 20 mins before they close

Update: last minute i planned to celebrate my moms birthday at Dragon city buffet, the staff was so amazing. They were quick to get us a table in such short notice on a busy evening. And sang happy birthday with a trasty treat. Thank you Lyn and your amazing staff for giving my mom a wonderful birthday. I highly recommend this buffet. Thank you Dragon city buffet! My go to Buffet.
