I arranged a surprise anniversary lunch for my parents at Earls Red Deer, and I couldn’t have asked for better service than what Ava B provided. I pre-ordered their food ahead of time to make things easier, and Ava took the extra step to ask the manager if payment could be processed in advance—which she made happen. That thoughtful gesture really helped make the experience seamless for my parents.
From start to finish, Ava’s kindness and professionalism stood out. My parents mentioned how well they were taken care of and how smooth everything was. The meal — from the Pinot Noir and crispy prawn rolls to the steak, wagyu oshi sushi, salmon, and sticky toffee dessert — was served perfectly.
Thanks to Ava B, my parents felt truly celebrated on their special day. I'm so grateful for her attention to detail and genuine care. Highly recommend asking for Ava B if you're dining at Earls Red Deer — she goes the extra mile.
Just talked you guys up hard about how you’re the best seafood joint in the prairies then got harshly proven wrong by my salmon dinner tonight.
Less microwave please, shouldn’t be to hard to have fresh rice/veg at a place with the Earls name attached to it.
I want to make it clear it was the kitchen tonight that sucked; the service was top notch.
Had a steak on the patio and it was incredible, honestly one of the best meals I've ever had in red deer!
Only disappointment was that the patio wasn't open :) Service was great and thoroughly enjoyed the food.
Edit: Got the patio last night and it was amazing. Consistent excellent service. Had the Chicken tacos not a wow, but the Nashville Sandwich was great.
Cool place 👍🏻 with a cozy atmosphere, very good service! Food for every taste, and most importantly delicious 🥰 A sincere recommendation of the restaurant 10/10
I've been coming to Earls for years—it's our go-to spot for both casual lunches and dinner dates. The food and service are always consistently five-star. But today, I really wanted to give a special shoutout to Lauryn—she was absolutely amazing!
Having worked in the service industry myself for over a decade, I truly appreciate the little things, and Lauryn nailed them all. She was constantly checking in, clearing our table (even the little things like straw wrappers), and made sure our plates were cleared as soon as we were done. She even brought extra napkins without us asking, just because she noticed my husband ordered a messy burger. It’s those thoughtful touches that really stand out.
Lauryn went above and beyond, and I think it’s important to recognize when someone genuinely earns it. So thank you again, Lauryn! We always love coming to Earls, and experiences like this are exactly why.
Sister & I Passing through red deer and decided to order earls through UBEREATS. we made a special request for our chicken fettuccine pasta ( extra Cajun seasoning with red chilli flakes on the side ) AND WOW! 10/10 whoever cooked our pastas understood the assignment, thank you guys for giving what we asked for!!!! Will order again tomorrow! Keep up the good work!
Food we ordered was good… wings and chicken hunan. Ordered the ice cream/ kahlua cake for dessert. Was told we can’t have it because it wasn’t our birthday 😳. What?? Was there few weeks ago and BOUGHT the ice cream cake. Wasn’t asking for a freebie. Why can’t you pay for a piece?? Nope! The keg it is in future. You get it free on your birthday or you pay for it if it isn’t. Since when does a restaurant REFUSE to sell you a piece of dessert?!
Very good! We’ve been here for lunch a few times and always leave feeling satisfied. Great food options, classy place and staff that are friendly and professional.
Clara was my server last night and she was absolutely wonderful! My boyfriend and I agreed she’s one of the best servers we’ve had in awhile. Great food, great service, and amazing white sangria. Thanks again!

I’ve always enjoyed Earls. But the prices are outrageous! The quality has gone down. The Santa Fe Chicken salad use to be my favourite. Fresh crisp washed romaine with lots of toppings. Now it’s wilted bagged not washed mixed greens very little toppings for over $25! A glass of ok wine $18! Ridiculous!
Got charged $8 for 2 pop we only had one. Must be charging for refills. They’ve taken off so many good items (dry ribs, Thai salad, mushroom crusted chicken beet salad etc) $200 bill for 4 of us. It’s not fine dining but they charge fine dining $$$$
Well, I'll tell ya. I'd give it 5 starts but I can't, I just can't. I had the 12oz steak dinner with mashed and brocollini. My hubby and I ordered the same thing and was excited about having a great steak as it's been a long time. Hubby can't eat red meat due to the iron so it was a real treat. We ordered our steaks medium cooked because medium rare usually comes back too rare. So, when our plates came and I saw that gorgeous 12 oz moo meat there, I dove in and cut off my first bite. It was good. I got mushrooms and truffle butter with is and I was good with that. My hubby, no so much. Well, keeping on with eating, by the time I hit my 3 cut into my steak, the blood was there. It was toooooo rare, barely cooked and still cool in the middle. Then when I cut into the next piece to see if it was better, a vein came out and the blood was there and I just couldn't anymore. I had to stop eating all together...grossed me right out. It did. Just writing this still makes me go....ewww....noooo. Turned me off of steak for awhile, I think. The brocolini was good, but too spicy for my hubby so he didn't eat his. The white Sangria's were really good, but a Sangria should be a full glass, as it is everwhere else, and not a half glass. You pay for what would be a full glass but you only get 5 ozs. Lots of juice in it. It's a peach Sangria and was supposed to have peaches in the glass, but we got oranges instead. It was still good though. We didn't do dessert as our bill was already over $200 and by the time we were done and paid our bill was $250. So, a nice night out, food was good, what I did eat. Will go back, the service was amazing, but I won't have the steak again. The sushi is to die for. ;)
Amazing food and drinks, customer service was exceptional. Hunan Kung Pao was really salty. All the other dishes were very tasty.
If you're not Caucasian avoid at all costs. Waitresses are rude they don't bother to listen and the Manager is just as bad. Seated and helped everyone but us and wouldn't listen or take our orders. Earls do better.
Kung Pow 5pepper tofu deliciously cubed and fried protein plus all around a great treat thanks for the service
