The mussels were very good, the service was polite but didn’t go over the top. The presentation of the food was very nice. We were very disappointed with the carbonara as it wasn’t an authentic carbonara. The steak was bland and we asked for rare and had to send back to be remade as they sent it out medium. The manager was very generous and understanding and comped both our meals.

Forno never disappoints, the relaxed yet semi-formal atmosphere make it a perfect place for a business lunch or a nice evening out with your special someone.
Was here with a really large group. We preordered 2 kinds of pasta, Caesar salad and 3 kinds of pizza. They were very accommodating and service was great. Kids seemed to really enjoy all the food. I thought pepperoni pizza was really good.
Nice option if you are in Red Deer for a tournament or with a large group 👍👍

The atmosphere would have been nice if the server had put us in a clean booth since there was at least 10 available, the treatment was snobby and there just wasn't anything especially great about the food,I mean a linguine that has only 6 shrimp and no other ingredients, bland and average. I honestly got better service at mucho burrito, don't order any white wine: vinegar

My daughter and I dined-in at Forno before the Tenille Townes concert this evening. Our waitress, Kayla, was friendly and accommodating. We ordered a Caesar salad and the Quattro fromagio pizza to share. Both dishes were delicious. We live 45 minutes south, and are in Red Deer on occasion for errands. We’re adding Forno to our favourite spots to dine. Well done, thank you!

The food here is beautiful! It tastes delicious! Made well! Consistent each time you order it. Full of flavour. Service is prompt and courteous. But, the entire experience isn't very "personal". The seating is crowded and very close to other tables. Zero privacy or room for conversations you don't want everyone else to hear. It's "cold" in there, not temperature wise, but the atmosphere isn't warm and inviting. We continue to go back because the food is good, for a decent price. But I do wish it was more comfortable.

We finally got to try Forno last night for a date night and we’re really pleased with our experience.
Our server, Chelsea, was fantastic, friendly and super attentive.
We tried the arancini, lobster ravioli (10/10 by the way), carbonara and a pepperoni pizza.
Everything we friend was fantastic. The portions are fair and the flavours were fantastic.

Restaurant is not what it is made out to be. The tomahawk meal for 4 is a rip off...hardly any meat,sure an expensive big bone; the 2 veggies were soggy, no flavour! Two kinds of potatoes in the same meal? Peppercorn sauce had no flavour; no salt and pepper on the table to add to the meal that really needed flavour. Chef kept coming and saying meal was coming in 2 minutes; 2 minutes, then told false facts about the beef portions. Made a big deal about carving it at your table; so what? Caesar salad was worst ever had! Definitely would not reccommend the tomahawk at almost $50 a person!!
