Mucho Burrito Fresh Mexican Grill

Ordered Taco Trio and was served beef scraps from the bottom of the bin. Barely any beef to be edible in a taco and drowned out with the toppings so could not even tell that beef was there... that is how stingy they are with the portions.

New beef bin pulled out right in front of me and here I was thinking I would get fresh beef instead of bottom of the bin hours old and cold by the time I ate it.

Very disappointing service and lackluster attitude from the person who made my meal. Don't think I'll waste my time coming here again.

tonight was literally one of the worst experiences ive ever had. disgusting establishment, felt very dirty. there was only one girl working, and another girl “making online orders”, literally the line up was close to the door, a girl walked in, just stared, and walked out. the girl serving us though, was the most slow moving person ive ever seen, like she did not care at all nor did she listen. 2 men were infront of me ordering burritos with no meat… so they wanted veggies & extra because they dont eat meat.. they said it loud and clear too.. anyways, she asks them “protein?” and the guy is just stunned and goes “none. thats why i said i would’ve liked a bit more veggies” and she goes “oh” something else i couldn’t hear, but doesn’t give him any and he’s just done at this point and wants to move on. the man infront of me wanted steak.. was told out of steak.. im not sure how that works but i find that odd? but then you were also out of cilantro, oh also chicken, and then it took another 5 minutes to come back out with the chicken… i get to ordering mine, im mad at this point, we waited 15-20 minutes at this point. im getting to the point and telling her loud and clear what i want, i had 2 burritos for my kids, she asked if they wanted cheese, i asked them loud and clear and they both shook their heads saying “no” i said “no cheese please” again loud and clear, and she starts throwing cheese on🤣 i notice quickly and she was about to throw it on the 2nd burrito and im like !?!?!? no?????? no cheese i said????? im so confused on how that miscommunication could happen, i asked my daughter if thats fine and she said sure, so whatever ok brush it off, but also come on, because it wasn’t just me at this point and thankfully this didn’t involve food sensitivity. and this is just my opinion for good customer service, and just maybe not being so snobbish about it, but i ordered 2 small burritos, at this point i just noticed there was a poster on the window beside the door, and i could barely read it as my eyes aren’t the greatest, anyways im reading the big font but couldn’t see little print (if there was any?? i didn’t check when i left as i was furious at this point) so i assume any size? i go to pay and say “oh isn’t it buy one get one free?” and she goes “no only regular size” and i laugh and go “you couldn’t of said anything?” like why not offer. if today is “customer appreciation” day, this location is terrible at showing it, not even a smile to the customers, just blank stares. again, in my opinion she could’ve offered “if you upsize to regular its buy one get one free” or anything along the lines? i just had a long day at calgary zoo with my kids, drove early morning, walked for hours, drove home, got to mucho at 6:20pm, im a tired parent with my 2 kids, im sorry i didn’t notice the poster as i walked in as i was ready to go home and get us fed, i noticed after and could not see anything about only them being regular, but telling me “you can read it on the poster” and points to the window? really? extremely ignorant. this place has been terrible in all aspects in the past several months, and the bowl portions have gone down big time. i try to give it a try once in awhile as my kids love it, but clearly i have bad luck. the food quality was good, i cant complain about the taste, but that dry chunky queso cheese (which none of us get, the lid was open) that was very questionable as well.

Very nice experience, food was exceptionally good. Surprisingly veggies burrito was as good as chicken one. Impressed by exceptionally good service of the girls on the counter. They were so efficient and fast.

I love mucho burrito sooo much but I went to this location on August 12th at 7:00 p.m. and ordered a burrito with chicken which was served to me with raw chicken pieces. Not every piece 70 or 80% of it was fully cooked and I tried to keep eating it but I kept getting raw pieces so I just threw it out and I won't come back to this location

Small portions

Each time I go here, the experience is truly great. The food is the high point here- which is good, since they're a restaurant! Good price, generous servings that match different appetites, and tons of variety. Unique beverage options as well! I especially like dining here at mid-day, when the sun casts through the south windows into the dining area from above, making it bright and warm without being blinding.

I’m staying at a hotel down the road, in Red Deer for work. I placed my order and drove down for pick-up, the lady working was lovely. Get back to my hotel and not even two full bites in….the chicken has a weird taste and hard bits, the veggies taste sour? I can’t even explain the taste. I tried to eat a few more bites, but my stomach is absolutely turning. Super disappointing, I eat Mucho all the time at home (Calgary) and have NEVER had an issue.

Update: 30 minutes later, I’m vomiting. Great.

We ate here on 3/27/25 at 5:30pm. The service was excellent. A lovely young lady named Khushi served us, she was extremely proficient, friendly and caring. She was the highlight of our visit, but the food was excellent as well. Everything was fresh and delicious. We left stuffed and satisfied.
We will be back!

Pointless doing mobile order. They never have it ready, they always forget about it(specially the one lady)

We had this location of Mucho Burrito cater a family wedding for ~75 people 2 weeks ago. We got burrito bowls. Everything about it was excellent! The food was plentiful, fresh and delicious. The staff who came to the reception arrived early, were super friendly and accommodating and did an excellent job. Ahead of time, emails and texts were responded to promptly and the manager was very helpful in planning the meal. Highly recommend! 💯

Writing this Feb 2025, there has been staffing changes, the food is worse than I’m used to (coming here since 2014) the make your own taco kit at home portions are a joke, service is insanely slow. used to feed the family and have leftovers for lunch, not anymore. Very unfortunate

It's just your typical fast food Mexican joint. However, the service here is above many dine in restaurants. The ladies who served me took great care in everything they did. When it's time to take a break, take a Mucho break!

This mucho burrito NEVER fails me and as a vegetarian I absolutely love the plant based crumble they offer 😻 also, whoever made this burrito has my life indebted to them- it was fire
