OPA! of Greece Bower Place

I normally don’t leave a review because it sends negativity out, but I feel I had to. The food seamed to be sprayed with some kind of cheap oil and was OK to eat at first but after about 30 minutes, made me completely sick. It wasn’t food poisoning, but I think it was because of the lack of quality oils they used to bake their foods in. I will never eat there again

Ordered a pita wrap and fries. I couldn’t believe how small the fries were, and my beef pita wrap had 2 small chunks of beef. Considering that I paid $35 for 2 meals I expect more.

All I can say is wow! The gyro pita was amazing. Crisp fresh lettuce! The taziki was super tasty. The calamari was incredible and tasty. The baklava was comparable to a resto I ate in Crete last month! Super happy I took the plunge and ordered! Will be ordering more and more from here! Thank you for a great meal!!! SETON, Calgary AB

Portions are smaller, skewer has 1 less piece chicken, than last time. Greek food emphasizes meat, protein. This location will loose customers, if continue to reduce meat portions.

Honestly you really can't beat Opa! Of Greece. The tzatziki sauce is just too good

I bought lunch for my whole family, including bavarages. The staff in the Bower Mall branch refused to free-refill fountain coke beverage even for once! Never had this kind of experience.

Counter at Metrotown Mall Food Court The order taker Simran is a pleasure to deal with! Very pleasant mannerism and clearly does her job well. Love the food and the service is great.🙂 Most people eat out for a pleasant experience and not just to fill their stomachs so an impressive employee like that is important.

The Calamari is always a good bet for me. The portions seem to be getting a bit smaller as time goes by though. Food court atmosphere can't get more than 3 stars and the wooden forks are a total waste of time. You are far better off eating with your fingers.

Oppa foods are tasty and delicious however I am shocked with how less the amount of the food they serve at this branch. This is not the first time I ordered here and got a very few amount of Calamari, I have ordered in Taylor drive branch and Gasoline Alley branch and they serve right amount of it. I am just wondering why the Bower place branch is different 🙅‍♀️ It's just really disappointing.

Opa Northgate, Winnipeg. Didn't issue receipt. Dirty tables, chairs, floor and washroom. Staff always inside the kitchen.

The lovely folks at Opa are genuinely the kindest people working in food service that I've ever met.
It's not just one or two that are kind, it's every employee!
They are kind, remember orders, ask how your day is, are quick with service...and the food is 10/10. I've never had a single complaint ever, even when they're super busy!

The staff here are nice. Unfortunately, I woke up with bad food poisoning on 10/11/2024 after eating here the night before. Had to cancel my Thanksgiving plans for that evening and have been holed up in bed all day.
