By far the best pizza in Red Deer. My order tonight came without the banana peppers I thought I ordered but that could have been my mess up just as much as their. A little more pricy than some other cheap pizza joints but when you get it and see how many toppings you will realize it is well worth the $$.

Papa Baldy's was recommended to us when we first arrived in Red Deer in June of 2025. We have tried a few other pizza places but nothing compares in taste topping ratio, and a sense of fulfillments after only a few pieces rather than eating double from other restaurants. We look be the pizza and will always recommend it to anyone who asks! We also appreciate that donations can go to feeding a less fortunate person with a pizza!

Ordered over the phone to get BOGO deal for two pizzas and a box of wings. At first i ordered and was told it would be $54. Called back to confirm it was wit the discount and it wasnt. The worker then told me the new price was 25% off, then 50%; ultimately saying the confusion came from “people usually order online” so they were not used to it.
Arrived 30 minutes later when they stated 20-25 minutes. The workers were passive of me being there then asked if i needed help. Told the my name and they walked away. Another worker then asked me again for my name for the order.
Prompted me to pay for it and i asked where the food was and they said it wasnt ready. I said I’d wait and they acted surprised and scoffed.
Wandered around and noticed they dont allow dine in nor do they offer salt and pepper.
Sat for approximately 8 minutes before one of the workers asked me again for my order; i told them and they went back to their PoS system. I asked how much longer and they said i just have to pay.
Got home and the pizza was good. Not my favourite but i wouldnt send it back. Salt and pepper wings were dryer than my socks and all the seasoning was sitting in the box. Tasteless, stinky and dry. Id rather eat gas station wings.

I have been enjoying the pizza for a long time. Going back to the old location. In the last few occasions the food has taken a slow steady decline in flavor and size of portions. I understand that cost for items has gone up but you have lost the great love and flare. Please put the love back into your food

Ordered Pizza, Chicken wings and lasagna. The pizza and wings were very good the lasagna was terrible, hardly any sauce or cheese was very dry and the top was burnt. . Luckily we had some sauce at home to add or the lasagne would be in the garbage. You shouldn’t ask for sauce when you order lasagna. A.

Had two large pizzas delivered, took close to an a half on a Thursday night. One tasted a bit overcooked, the other crust was soggy in the centre. The delivery person didn’t say more than two words and couldn’t get going fast enough. Won’t be ordering again.

Ordered a take out Papa Baldy's classic pepperoni mushroom and green pepper pizza. It was very good and hot right out of the oven. They don't have a restaurant area at this location as it is for take out and delivery only. I'll be back next time I'm in Red Deer

UPD: We decided to try the wings this time — until now we had only ordered pizzas, which were always excellent. Unfortunately, the teriyaki wings were a huge disappointment. They were dry, smelled old, and tasted like they had been sitting out for days. Definitely not fresh. The quality was nowhere near what we expected based on our previous great experience with their pizza.
Wow! Our first time trying this place and the pizza was incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. Highly recommend!
