Been here several times, and have not been disappointed yet! Amazing food, reasonably priced, awesome atmosphere with such great and accommodating staff. Made a last minute birthday dinner reservation (original restaurant gave away our reservation so had to find someplace very last minute for 7 people) and the staff here did such an amazing job accommodating our group! Would absolutely recommend this place and will most definitely be back! Order the Maryland chicken, the BBQ chicken and apple pie for dessert this time, so good!

I threw my husband's 40th Suprise birthday there! It was fabulous. 50 or so people so we got the lounge side. All the food was fantastic never heard a complaint from anyone! They decorated for me, also allowed the cake to be dropped off the day before. The service was awesome the girls were on there game. Highly recommend this place to anyone for any type of special event!! Thanks again

Okay, So I have been waiting a while to write this review for no other reason than that I just had to work and was really busy this summer.
I had a conference in Red Deer and what with it being fathers day I really wanted steak for dinner and my wife found the Ranch house online.
Everyone got what they wanted from the menu and of course I ordered a 16 ounce T Bone Steak, This is where it gets interesting.
Everyone got there plates and they looked amazing, I get my plate and my T bone looked like shaved ham, I mean it was thin. I also asked for it medium and it was cooked through and no wonder, it looked like it was run over by a street paver.
I took 2 bites and when the server came back and asked if everything was alright I told her that I didn't believe the steak was 16 ounces and it was overcooked. She right away went in the back to let them know and she said the cook told her that it was 16 ounces and that she weighed it and I said I didn't believe it.
She then said she wouldn't charge me for the steak and I said that that wasn't necessary and that I would pay. She then came back to the table with a phone and said the owner would like to speak to me and when I took the phone, He apologized and offered to pay for the whole meal.
I said, that wont be necessary because the rest of my family really enjoyed their meals and the server was really kind and sweet, and he said at least let me take your plate off the bill, I said okay. He then told the server to add a complimentary dessert for father's day.
What a nice treat to what could have otherwise been a disappointment for an evening and father's day.
To the Ranch house I say thanks for great meals minus 1, but thanks also to our server who was a sweetheart and an owner who knows what it is to not only take responsibility for errors but also take pride in his restaurant and it's great ambiance.
ALWAYS THE VERY BEST IN ALL CATAGORIES!! There is nowhere else to go. Top notch in everything… returning soon . Thankyou.

Ordered veal cutlets—pleural. Meal came and it was a single tiny cutlet, celery for a vegetable and garlic toast. We’re used to Alexander’s in Airdrie where you get an amazing meal and enough bel for 2 meals. Servers are amazing and resteraunt is a nice venue, but won’t be back.
Disappointing—pick the Keg , One Eleven or George’s in RD for a great meal

I've eaten here a half dozen times, it's clean and spacious and the servers are polite and attentive. However, I'm likely not returning again. The reason is simple, it's a steakhouse that specializes in steak and prime rib that has either undercooked or overcooked my steak half of the visits here. Food is good when prepared as ordered and it's what you'd expect. Since they can't do the one thing correctly and are that inconsistent at cooking a steak I can't justify coming back. Still tipped, still thanked them, but something needs to change in the kitchen.

So not sure what the actual meat they served as Prime Rib but it certainly was not good. Either it was rotten or say, horse. The server said they she needed to check if it was good at the moment and she came back and said it was. So I had it and I still can't figure out what was wrong with the meat but it was BAD! The rest of our meals was mediocre at best. Don't eat here.
