Our family of 11, including 6 children who were 12 and under, had dinner on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025. The menu was varied and very reasonably priced. Having kids' meals was a bonus. There was mention of the steak, in the Spaghetti & Steak meal, being a bit tough but otherwise, everyone was very happy with their choice. The service was excellent, prompt and the waitress knowledgeable. We would definitely return next time we're in Red Deer.

Easy 5 ⭐! First time dining experience. My wife had the steak sandwich, which comes with Cole slaw and she ordered a side of onion rings. She said the steak was perfect and she really enjoyed her meal. I ordered the Beef dip and a side of slaw comes with plus I ordered Tots. Everything was excellent, good bun, good beef and tots. But oh no!!!! What's this?! They forgot my Slaw!!! Grrrrr! Not a problem. I simply mentioned to our excellent server, she apologized and promptly brought it for me.👍 Perhaps some of (few) negative comments that I've read for Dave's could have been diverted by simply mentioning (while they were still dining) their concerns and get them corrected. But Naaaaah! Best to give a rotten review. That'll show'em.🙄
The menu is not a big menu. However a good selection of different tastes. Will be back!

We looked forward to eating at this restaurant rated 4.7. The service was outstanding! Friendly, efficient and helpful. The food was quickly served but greasy and resulting in stomachaches. We were both up all night.
This is a hidden gem they have amazing from with nice prices and the staff will go the extra 10 miles

Finally tried Same Ole Dave's!!! AMAZING!!!! The service, price and our meals were fantastic!!!!I had the chicken parm which Im normally eery because i get mad if its not as good as mine! Its was amazing!! My friend had the lasagna. Homenade sauces! And HUGE portions! Truly fantastic! Its nice you can go and pick from three different menus! Can not wait ti go back!!!!
