Ive genuinely never come across such a wonderful place that has both amazing food, great atmosphere, and fantastic customer service. Get the dry ribs! Who knew something so simple could be THAT perfect!!

Finally tried Same Ole Dave's!!! AMAZING!!!! The service, price and our meals were fantastic!!!!I had the chicken parm which Im normally eery because i get mad if its not as good as mine! Its was amazing!! My friend had the lasagna. Homenade sauces! And HUGE portions! Truly fantastic! Its nice you can go and pick from three different menus! Can not wait ti go back!!!!

Had a meal here with my mom while visiting Red Deer. We were not disappointed. I have the spinach chicken with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. It was delicious. My mom had a steak and said the same. Very nice server's as well. If you are in Red Deer - do it!

I ordered here as it was very recommended for the best ribs in town. It was not a lie!! Very delicious ribs, I chose caesar salad and fries as my two sides and both were great portions and delicious!! When I went to pick up my order the staff were very friendly, attentive and the restaurant was very clean.

I’ve been a loooong time fan of Albert’s, having lived downtown as a kid and my mum being a big brunch fan. But for some reason it took until this past week to get around to trying their evening menu, for when they turn into Same Old Dave’s.
Of course, the space itself is still the same, and the staff are too - so we already knew we’d be comfortable and well taken care of, but the dinner menu for Dave’s didn’t disappoint. It is small, with limited options but what they do offer - they do well.
My MIL had the fish n’ chips. Hot, crispy, good texture and flavour. She was happy with her lemon and tartar. They quickly brought out some hot sauce for her when asked (as she’s not a ketchup fan). My fiancé and I each had the rib special. A full rack of BBQ ribs with your choice of 2 sides for only $22 (if I’m remembering correctly) which is a $4 savings from the regular price any other day.
Our ribs were fall off the bone tender, not too sweet and not too spicy, with enough to fill up at the table and still need to-go boxes for the remainder. I had mashed potatoes and sautéed seasonal veg - both were fresh and delicious. Especially with the gravy. My fiancé had mashed potatoes and onion rings. He said the same for his choices.
As a family we also ordered the garlic parmesan wings, spinach dip w/ chips and loaded potato skins. All were fantastic choices that everyone enjoyed.
Our 15 month old son got to try ribs for the very first time with their kids entree. What appeared to be 1/5 rack of ribs with a scoop of fries and some carrot/celery sticks as well as a juice for only $8. An awesome deal for any kids meal let alone for one of this quality. Needless to say, he also loved his food and was very happy to make friends with the kind servers on shift who ALL stopped to say hello to him and smile/wave as they passed his high chair.
Thank you to the crew working that day, it was a great meal, and a great experience and we appreciate how warm and welcoming you were to us as a family with a toddler. Much appreciated! We’ll definitely be back!

No idea how this place got 4 stars, got my steak sandwich to find out my fries and my roommates meal which was chicken with lasagna, we were disappointed to find out these guys use frozen products, premade breaded chicken breasts and frozen fries, my gravy was watered down and tasted like it came from a powder packet, and absolutely nothing was seasoned, their garlic bread was literally a slice of toasted white bread with a couple flakes of garlic seasoning and no butter, these other reviews are either bots or nostalgic old people with no taste buds
Only plus side was the waiters, ours was nice and friendly fortunately
