This was a gem of a restaurant, but the quality has gone downhill quite abruptly over the last few months. The last 2 times I went there, we ordered an appetizer and miso soup. Both times the appetizers came with the entree or after. My wife ordered he teriyaki sauce on the side, and it was cold. The waitress was unapologetic and said it was full service, and cold sauce was normal (may have been a language barrier). It may just be the waitress, or the business model, but I will need to find a different place for sushi now.

This is the only place we eat Sushi! The staff is always friendly and efficient. The quality is fantastic. We always get the bento box. With this, we get great value for our money!

Very lovely place! Definitely the best avocado and cucumber rolls in red deer! A quiet spot, very clean and good atmosphere. Celiac and vegan friendly! Lots of veggie roll options. Prices are good for what you get! Highly recommend trying this place out! Only four stars because the service is very poor. The waitress never refilled our water, didn’t check in on our table, forgot to bring us things we had asked for and we had to get up to ask for the bill because she didn't check in. Very disappointing but the food is so good.

Our favourite restaurant in Red Deer! Consistently delicious, friendly staff and a strong commitment to quality food. The bento box is a great value with delicious choices! The only downside of Sushi Ta Ke…it makes most other sushi places we have gone to seem overpriced and usually disappointing. Makes my mouth water just thinking about their food!!
Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. Loved everything we all ordered. Had Saki for the first time and enjoyed it lol. Service was a little slow but they only had one waitress on staff and she was dealing with a busy restaurant and all the Skip guys so definitely did understand. I absolutely recommend it. All 4 of us enjoyed it. We will definitely be return customers
