Food and service are good! It was our second time there and we'll be back when we are in the area.

We had a wonderful meal again at one of our favourite restaurants in Red Deer. Family owned a run establishment that has been around for years. Their menu gives lots of traditional Vietnamese dishes and some western delights. They have kept their prices low and have not compromised the food quality. The owner is very pleasant and came over and greeted us, very hard working man.
* highly recommended, if it’s busy just be patient they will do their very best to accommodate.

First time visiting and will definitely be going back. All our dishes were served hot, presented well and tasted amazing. Vegetables were fresh and the portions were BIG. The service we had was excellent and final bill worked out to less than what we are used to paying from our previous residence. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

Had the beef sub, special rolls, salad rolls, and chicken vermicelli bowl—all were absolutely delicious. The standout was definitely the special rolls—crispy, flavourful, and packed with fresh ingredients. We did takeout and ate everything about 15 minutes after pickup, and nothing was soggy—everything held up perfectly. This is easily the best new food I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend if you're looking for something fresh, tasty, and satisfying!

I absolutely loved my meal at Thap Ba! This Vietnamese restaurant truly delivers on both taste and value. Every dish I've tried has been packed with flavor and incredibly fresh. What really sets it apart, though, are the super affordable prices – you get amazing quality without breaking the bank. If you're looking for great Vietnamese food that won't empty your wallet, Thap Ba is the place to go!

We were visiting from Calgary (8adults/5kids) and decided to try this restaurant for the first time. Unfortunately, we were met with a very unpleasant experience. Upon arrival, the staff member who greeted us commented—quite sharply—that we should have called ahead to arrange our seating. His tone was rude and dismissive, and the remark was loud enough for other guests to hear, leaving us feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. Although he eventually set up a table for us, his attitude remained uninviting. Feeling uncomfortable, we chose to leave. It was a very disappointing experience and not the kind of welcome we expected.

I witnessed a guy very rude with a group of people. He was very disrespectful, shame to that place.

Disrespectful guy, rude to some people and friendly to others. Do not recommended to Asian families to go there.

Food was delicious and the service was quick. We stopped quickly on our way back to Edmonton and it was way better then stopping at a usual spot on gasoline alley.
