I have so several fun memories here! I am a fan and recommend the vat if you enjoy open mics and live music. A touch dark for my personal preference, and sometimes too loud to have conversations when out with friends, but that is also part of the vibe. This is a fun place to go dance, jam to music, and relax. They have a very unique vibe that is a unique treasure for our community! This for many people is an easy 5 star establishment!

Asked for a vodka soda after being approached for drinks was ID’d very rudely as he was bartending and in the middle of a pool match and then when I was served it was just ice water… wasn’t gonna stick around to argue or ask for the right drink just ended up leaving. Definitely not a bar for anyone new to town as if your not a regular you get treated poorly!
Very unique pub..first impression I wasn't too sure. Staff are very friendly, service is very good, and the artwork throughout this pub is amazing.

This place has always been like home for me! Brian is amazing, Terry is nothing short of a Red Deer legend! The only thing I would suggest is maybe finding a new sound guy. The mix isn't great anymore, but other than that, it will always be home!
