Cool spot. Excellent staff

We’ve visited this brewery several times, and unfortunately, the service has really been slipping lately. On our most recent visit, our server (I believe her name was Emily) was one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered in hospitality. She was dismissive, ignored our table, and made us feel unwelcome. It’s disappointing because we’ve always enjoyed coming here, but the declining service is making it harder to want to return. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the customer experience.

Troubled Monk Brewing is a fantastic spot for craft beer lovers. The beers were absolutely delicious, and doing a flight was a great way to try a variety. The Pineapple Sour was hands-down my favorite—refreshing and full of flavor.

If they served food, I know I’d stay longer and make more of a night of it, but as it stands, it’s still a great place to enjoy some high-quality brews in a laid-back setting. Definitely worth a visit!

This 5 Stars and I will talk for my entire family, we attended a wedding reception yesterday, the beer that was liked by all of us was the Daycation, and the Mules were ABSOLUTELY fantastic, and the bartender was an absolute sweetheart, she remembered everyone's name off the batt, I wish there was a Troubled Monk in Sherwood Park, good job and we will be keeping an eye out for this product in our liquor stores here, congrats Jestin and Katlyn on your wedding

Bought a case of troubled tea! Was used to hard ice teas that gave me heartburn after 24 of them drank the case of troubled teas and was pleasantly surprised. Good work. New customer here now

One of my favourite places to go, Their accommodating polite, fast service they have brought my dog little treats and water and always make sure I have what I need. Emily and Gabby are my favourite waitresses there.. I recommend this place absolutely everybody. I wish Summer didn’t have to end

Nice beers, but the patio was the main attraction. Lovely patio, great service, and a food truck nearby for anything above a munchy from the brewery. Cool spot - I'll be back!

First time going. The patio is nice and I like the privacy with some of the huts. Nice place that you can take kids and dogs to.
Snacks we ok can’t say anything about the beers as I don’t drink beer. They had a food truck so guessing they don’t have anything more than snacks

The waitress were a bit rude/short when we asked about soda flavors. But on the website they don’t label any flavor and it’s says to ask servers.- maybe they should label all items on website or menu to avoid this. Also weird that multiple waitress were at the table so twice we had to say the other lady helped us (guess it’s good they were at least making rounds) but they should be more organized.

Have a few games the little kids were enjoying.

Parking is minimal so try to car pool.

Went in today to have a drink since it's 29 degrees outside, ended up waiting for someone to take our order for 15 minutes. Went inside just to be told to go outside and wait so we waited 5 more minutes still. Nobody came after she said she'd be right out. We decided we would just grab a case and leave. Ended up waiting 5 minutes while four people stood behind the counter eating and chit-chatting and singing to the music before anybody noticed us. Definitely not my best experience there.

Cool spot, good beers, and funky style. Big patio, with crazy bag pipe show across the street

Everyone seems so focused on the service, the atmosphere, all that (which was all very good, everyone there deserves a raise). But what I want to focus on, is the art that the brewers and distillers have fine tuned. Went to troubled monk for the first time this evening. I tried the Meeting Creek No.3 whisky, neat, in a glencairn glass. And despite being outside in one of their cute little hut things, i could still get the complexity of the nose with its vanilla almond cereal (like muslix), baking spices, dark chocolate, and somehow that sherbet fizziness but in my nose. And on the palette, oaky roasted caramel, grassy/cereal, chocolate, dark fruits (dried). I also tried some of my brother in laws IPA. And I liked it, which i normally don't. So hats off to all involved from mash to cask, and everything else in between. Keep up the good work. I'll be back, hopefully for a tour sometime!!!
