We went to Achtis for the first time and were very impressed! The meal was excellent! Great quality and flavour with service that was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The bar with its red lights gives a nice vibe, and even the bathrooms were beautiful and well kept. What made the visit even more special was that they remembered us from our hometown. We left full, happy, and excited to come back again (and with a piece of chocolate cake for later!)

There was only 1 server working. We waited about 10 minutes before someone seated us, we then waited about 15-20 minutes before someone came and took our drink order, and at that time our dinner order at the same time.
I ordered a steak, and potatoes. My meal came out cold, like it had been sitting for a while before being brought out. I didn’t eat mine.
After having our meals dropped at the table, we didn’t see the server after that, so I was unable to tell her my meal was freezing cold, and my steak was 95% fat and I could hardly cut through it.
By the time she came back, she saw I didn’t eat it and said “oh no let me get the kitchen to make you another one” at this time, everyone at the table was done eating, and we had been there long enough I just said no thank you.
She insisted on making another steak, to go. She said “if you’re paying for the meal, she wants me to leave happy.”
At this point, I should have been given a discount, not a free steak to take home in a cardboard to go container.
I never complain at a restaurant but this was a huge disappointment. $120 and I didn’t even eat…
