Thank you for the lovely meal tonight. We both had the fillet mignon. Mine bacon wrapped with peppercorn sauce and my husbands was the mushroom topped. Both were cooked to perfection and absolutely melted in our mouth. I wish we would have had room for dessert. Creme Brulee my favorite. We were seated next to the window and fireplace. The view is lovely!Such a peaceful place to be. Can’t wait to return.

This place is a perfect quiet getaway. A total hidden jem. We just got back and our experience was outstanding;from the personalized check in, to the room accomodations and the restaurant was a 10/10.
The service and atmosphere was lovely but the food not so much. Ordered two medium rare steaks and both were well done. A little smear of potatoes and pea pods that we just called pods cause there were no peas in them. I didn’t know asparagus could be that skinny. Smallest $50 steak I have ever seen not even a half inch. Make sure you have snacks in your cabin cause you’re going to leave hungry. The service staff was very helpful and were really sorry for how our meal turned out. They did give us free dessert to try to make up for it. It’s a beautiful spot to stay but I’d recommend going into Rocky for dinner and not eat there.

Absolutely perfect room and spot!! Couldn’t of ask for a better place to spend our anniversary!!! Staff are amazing and the location is exactly what we were looking for.
Excellent service. Great food. My spouse rated the duck as one of the top dishes he had in his life. I had the Oscar sirloin. I found the crab salty but the steak was good. The desert. The chocolate crème brûlée was amazing!!
We had an excellent dinner, served by a very nice professional waitress. She took very good care of us.Dinner rolls, compliments of the chef, were incredible. And the Dark Chocolate Creme Brûlée is to die for! ? So delicious! One star missing for the other young waitress that stared at us all evening. The second evening she was very snappy and short, unprofessional when we picked up our dessert to take back to the cabin.
It is a beautiful spot we had been wanting to dine here for a few years, then covid hit then after it seemed when ever we wanted to book the restaurant was shut, the reviews were great,so I was expecting great things and what a let down I got for a bill of close to $200,for 2 steaks that look nothing like the pictures, the steak was mediocre and tough ,the whole meal was heavily seasoned, the crab I'm sure was out of a can,the starter didn't have enough things to dip in it,the Saskatoon berry desert I had again was a disappointment as it was dry,the next night we went into Rocky had a great steak meal for a much cheaper price that wasn't tough,I have tried the hearthstone but won't go again, I won't recommend it to anyone either. The only reason I have given it 3 stars is because of the setting and the waitress was so friendly.
AMAZING ATMOSPHERE, GREAT SERVICE, AND DELICIOUS FOOD!!!!
Two couples spending the weekend at Prairie Creek, had one dinner at Heartstone. Very nice space, and the tables seem to be placed around the room edges. There was a large dinner party (at least 25 people) in a room off to the side so it was a bit noisy but nice that they can cater to large groups. The seafood special was really nice and the butternut squash soup was to die for. I had the bacon wrapped chicken, it was delicious. We were all really pleased with the vegetable sides; not at all afterthoughts as veggies often appear to be, but really tasty, well prepared, and a nice variety. The lava cake for dessert was scrumptious, and it was very nice of them to comp it for my birthday. We felt the food was extremely well priced for the quality. Quantities were perfect. The lost star was for the temperature of the dining room; we were grateful to be seated by a window as we cracked it open but were still way too warm. I am a perpetually cold person so for me to be so uncomfortably warm meant the room was very stuffy, and we were seated right beside the entrance. My hubby was really regretting choosing to wear a sweater, and our friends were very warm too. Anyways, can’t wait to return for our annual trip next year!
This is a beautiful hideaway treat for anyone who enjoys food and

Stayed at the inn, and we decided to have dinner and breakfast on site. The restaurant was very clean, with nice view. The service and food was excellent!
Vegetarian options: There are no vegetarian or vegan options on the menu.
A month ago our daughter was married at Prairie Creek Inn where it made the day extra special by being absolutely beautiful! The arch on the grounds was a great place for flowers and all the trees and foliage added a gorgeous background. The suites were all clean and comfortable to stay in. All the meals at Heartstone Restaurant were amazing and enjoyable. Service was excellent! We hope to stay again sometime.
Vastly overpriced. Parody of luxury dining. New ownership and young enthusiastic chef whose last post was chef at a care home.
