Flaming Wok

They should be removed from food court as they sell food below standards (over cooked and dried out meat) and upon providing them with feedback the staff have no good response and throws sarcasm.

Very rude staff . Ladies are too rude and unprofessional.

We are regulars at this flaming wok and this is the only place we eat apart from KFC for the kids. On Saturday Feb 21st my daughter was at the mall with a friend and she decided to go for her fav meal and picked a combo at the Flaming wok. As she was half done and her friend was waiting on her she decided to pack the meal as she has been taught the value of not wasting food. She realized that the box had a leak and since the food had a lot of curry she would need to repackage it. She went to the family wok cashier … and asked for the food to be repackaged or a bag and was met with an elderly lady who said she cannot repackage the box and can only give a bag for 50 cents to which my daughter replied that I need the bag as the box is leaking. The old lady got infuriated with my 12 year old and started yelling at her saying there is no leak and that she is lying. My daughter of course scared but not one who would waste the food requested her again politely for the bag and the lady continued to yell and then threw the bag at her. Eventually my daughter walked around with a bag full of curry which eventually she had to empty in a mall garbage to her utter discomfort and come home with a greased bag and a box of food. All for someone not willing to repackage an item bought from them. It’s hard when you teach your children to be kind to people and they don’t get kindness back in return. I don’t know who that older lady was but if she gets to this message I hope she realizes the damage she has done to a young mind and that she does not repeat this again. As for us our fav restaurant at the mall is a pass for one seniors decision to behave so insensitively.

My husband and I were planning to have supper here tonight . I asked her if i could have a sample piece of the chefs special ( so I could decide what I would want in my combo meal ) and the lady said they don’t give out samples . So guess what , went to Bourben Street and spent our $40 there instead.
I have never written any review before but this time I felt I wanted to point out the terrible and unfriendly service.

Would give no stars the worker here was so rude and disrespectful she had the nerve to try and blame her card machine glitch/mess up on us and say we wrecked it even after her co worker said their machine does that and it’s not our fault she still had the nerve to yell saying it was us very unprofessional would not recommend eating there if you see this worker working (picture posted )

While the service was decent, the food was not. I ordered ginger beef & sesame chicken, which were both extremely tough. I was unable to eat the ginger beef & the sesame chicken was almost as inedible. The fried rice was gummy. This was a busy time at the restaurant, and therefore the food was fresh. I do not recommend eating here. This is not my first time experiencing these issues but was by far the worst.

Famous Wok I think is the same company diff name.
Mall food so I believe company not concerned about repeat visitors. Horrible tasteless food. Under the lights you think ok. But take it to the table and it looks weird. Tastes weird. Felt unwell later. Never get it.

0 stars should be an option. Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Not even edible. $18 for two items and a drink and it went in the garbage. Wish I’d checked out the reviews here first!

Not HAPPY!. I drove from Livingston NW to the food court. I ordered rice and fish and the fish was bad. Seems like they sold the previous day fish. I tried calling the number on the website and it was not working as I did not want to take the food back in front of other customers. I had no choice but to drive back and complain about the food and they were not apologetic or show any form of compassion. They just said take something else. Truly felt like reporting them to the authorities.

Absolutely unacceptable. Upon starting my order, the server started a conversation with someone who clearly wasn't a customer. It was absolute chit chat for 5 min. She kept saying these half ass 'sorries'. Finally I got my order started but again I was interrupted by the same person wanting to talk to the server. Her co-workers all stared at her knowing this was bad service. I can see why so many reviews for this place are 1 star.
