Just about chomped into a raw chicken burger. My friend also had the same experience and just tried to go get a refund but the only recompense they offered was to offer another chicken burger, so I figure it to be a lost cause to even try and go get a refund. So to the trash it goes. Don't get me wrong, I love thier pizza, it's some of the best pizza around here, but I was really feeling a chicken burger today. I don't think I can add pictures but I did take some for proof.
I have to say the quality of food here is fairly average and of course what can you expect from a small gas station in a very small town. With a rotating population of mostly oil field workers I have to say they have done a fairly good job at fitting the niche of quick greasy food for guys who don’t have time to cook. In terms of service it’s hit or miss I’ve eaten here probably about 40-50 times during my time up in the rycroft area, the Sikh guy is very passionate and will give you great service, the filipinoLady is very sweet and will try to help with anything , however the middle aged white woman who seems to fill some managerial role acts completely indifferent and or apathetic to the concerns of anyone who enters the place this makes going here sometimes disconcerting or just a hinderance to your time off for eating experience.The food is pretty mid, most of the time the pizza is pretty decent the sandwiches are sandwiches, the chicken I would absolutely just avoid at all costs. It’s totally terrible, and the worst I’ve ever had. The donairs are very good for a small town I’d say they are about a 6.5/10 nothing crazy but this is the best menu item.In terms of places to improve I think for the niche community and comparing other local businesses, the price fits, even if it is over priced with the remoteness I can understand but be prepared to drop like 16 dollars minimum for anything.Here’s a quick list of the menu items I’ve tried how I rate themDonair 6.5/10Subs 6/10Pizza 5.5/10Chicken strips 2/10Dry ribs 3/10Breakfast wrap/sandwich 3/10 (microwaved)Fried chicken 1/10Burger 4/10 (not bad but garbage quality)Fries 7/10 (would be better with more salt)To anyone who disagrees this is my personal scale only trying to help better inform customers who might be trying to decide where eat.

Just picked up a 9 piece chicken meal. Yes we got 9 pieces of chicken but barely got enough fries for 1 person and only a single serve gravy. For the price difference of just getting the 9 piece chicken its really not worth it for what you get. You are better off just getting the chicken and making your own fries at home.

Me and my boyfriend went to eat at chicken way and it was the worst food i hqve ever ordered fries were soggy and was not cooked all the way the buger was dry and the chicken wasnt crispy at all i do not recommend eating here it was a waste of 30 dollars we couldnt even eat it had to throw it in the garbageUpdate just went in to try to talk to these people and they have nothing but attitude behind them especially the woman at the front desk all she could do was sit there and roll her eyes they asked me to take the review down and I refuse to I am not going to give a good review if the food you gave me is garbage and I said nothing about the gravy maybe you guys should learn how to talk to customers

Ive eatan so much donir sandwiches in my life and this restaurant has if not one of the best donir sawiches ive ever had. The bread is so soft and the meat just melts in your mouth. They had such nice staff even the owner came out to make sure i was happy and even gave me some chicken cuz I was buying from him. Still need to try the pizza but I whould not be surprised if it was just as elite. Definitely a 11/10 experience NEED TO TRY!!
