The best place in Sexsmith for ice cream. I love the loaded sandwich. The Sunday brunches are fine. I'm disappointed in the recent price increases though, especially since the side is plain chips with onion dip and not the kettle chips and homemade dip the menu claims. The cost is now more than the typical cafe in Grande Prairie. If I'm paying premium prices for cafe food compared to Grande Prairie, the service and quality need to be top notch.

The waitress was super friendly and anticipated requests. The treats are all homemade and the milkshakes are made with real ice cream, old fashioned style. This friendly, small town vibe was a wonderful stop on our journey.

The food here is always good, with plenty of tasty sweets and a cute location. Unfortunately, the customer service has consistently been disappointing. Staff often seem irritated when we call in for our lunch pick up orders, and during our last visit, a friends simple pickup order was made incorrectly. Mistakes happen, but instead of fixing it with understanding, the staff seemed incredibly frustrated and annoyed to remake the correct order even though it was their mix-up. “I guess we will just make it again”
It’s frustrating to have several poor experiences when we genuinely enjoy the food and want to keep supporting a local favourite that’s been a go-to lunch spot for years. Hoping to see some improvement in service, because the food and community really does deserve better.
