Went there this past week (July 21). We were celebrating my sisters birthday. We sat ourselves & waited 10 minutes for the menus. There was only one waitress and she kept apologizing to us because she was by herself. White older lady with black hair, black glasses. She took our beverage and food orders, waited 15 mins for our food. The food was mid and too pricey. We tried their burgers and pasta. She kept forgetting about us. By the time we were done eating and went up to pay, she apologized again for not checking on us. We paid and I could tell there was a big energy switch when we didn’t tip her (bad service). She gave us a disappointing look and said “thank you” in a low tone voice. For a restaurant that promotes themselves really well, they have terrible service. I don’t think we’ll go back there.

When I go to a resturant for first time I usually order a club sandwich. That way you know what your getting. But this club has to be the worst ever ordered. The bread was soggy just like the sandwich was made 3 or 4 hours ago and just sitting there. I left the bread on the plate and just ate the turkey, lettuce and tomatoes.

Great food and service, and is incredibly convenient to be within the Slave Lake Inn. I ordered the Bison Rib-Eye steak, which came with a slice of garlic toast and I elected to have the salad along with it. Not a single thing to complain about, and I’ll be there again to try something new.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Slave Lake. Top notch food, atmosphere, and wait staff. I always take my out of town guests here, as the food is always superb. Ordered the steak salad for dinner tonight and it was heavenly. I will be back to try their dinner special sometime. Definitely a lifetime customer!
