“Our family visited Famous Chicken in Spruce Grove after attending the Edmonton Corn Maze recently. Before heading back to Whitecourt, we decided to give Famous Chicken a try. I love Indian cuisine and decided to try the Dal Makhani with garlic naan. IT WAS THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD!! The flavours were exceptional. 10/10. I would bet money that I get this dish every time we are needing food before heading home. Haha! It was AWESOME! Everyone kept sampling my food. Raves all around. We also ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza which my husband and children raved about the whole drive home. My oldest picked the Popcorn Chicken Poutine and gave it two thumbs up. She said it wasn't greasy, the gravy was yummy, and the fries were the best. One of the kids also ordered a burger and was impressed. The patty appeared handmade as did the bun. The whole meal tasted like a home cooked feast. You could taste the passion for cooking that the chef has. Nothing was "cheaped out on." Everything tasted fresh and made from scratch. And we can't forget the dairy free, GF soft serve. It reminded us of a gelato-type treat but smoother. We LOVED the mango and cherry flavours the best. The staff was so kind and friendly too! We will without a doubt be back. Spruce Grove, you've got a gem here!“

The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside — seasoned just right, with a flavor that keeps you coming back for more. Every bite tasted freshly cooked and full of flavor, not greasy at all.

The service was just as impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. It’s clear they take pride in both their food and their hospitality.

“This is the only fast food restaurant where you can get a chicken sandwich that is actually CHICKEN! They spend the time and energy to flatten out chicken breasts. All other fast food restaurants will serve you a rubbery piece of shoe leather, and call it chicken. God only knows what it really is. Their fried chicken is also local and top notch. Restaurant seating and atmosphere is average, the employees are friendly and professional. I go there because the food is real, period!“
