If you're looking for decent-priced really-good Fish and Chips, Docherty's is the place to go!Current construction to "Beautify Downtown Spruce Grove" has made getting here difficult, but going through the back alley and parking in their rear parking lot is really a lot easier than parking on the street and trying to back out. Made it out for 3.14 pie day. Chicken pot pie was good. Restaurant was clean and tons of street parking available outside. Was a little chillier inside so be sure to bring a sweater if you run cold like me. Staff was pleasant.
We have not been to Dochertys for a couple years. Always enjoyed, but this time was far superior. Pieces were large and cooked to perfection. Used to be way thicker batter so this was a nice surprise. Not nearly as greasy as years past. Highly recommend.
