Las Ventanas Mexican restaurant

Best mexican cuisine outside of Mexico. Drinks are impeccable. Staff was great. Salsa wheel had so many great tatates and flavors. The food was outstandingDefinitely going back.

Recently stumbled upon this place by the trileisure centre in spruce grove. The atmosphere is upbeat and laid back, the staff are very friendly and attentive to guests. The food selection is amazing! So much to choose from. The prices are on point for the amount of food you get. I've been here twice already and am glad there's more and more of these types of restaurants coming to parkland county. I'm looking forward to trying out their taco Tuesday! ?

Food was UNREAL. It's totally authentic, fresh, and absolutely AMAZING TASTE.The server needs some serious work, though.We came on a Saturday, June 3rd.The server was a young female in Jean shorts and black tank top, caucasian.Chewing gum, drinking behind the bar (soda, but still in plain view of guests).Totally lacked any sense of professionalism. As someone who's served for many years, I would have sent her home if I were her manager.While the wait for the food was terribly long, eventually they made the effort to. Bring it some chips and salsa to tide us over while we waited (they had a baseball team come in).Overall I will for sure be back because the food was UNREAL.

Wow, was I wrong!!!When I first walked into theLas Ventanas restaurant, I thought this was going to be a "regular" type of Mexican/taco/wanna be place.WRONG!The food is excellent, both very flavourful and lots to eat. The staff can never help you enough, and did I say the food is incredible.I found this restaurant strictly by chance and I will return with family and friends.

Food was great with authentic flavors. Love the spicy salsa choices. Definitely try this again.

This was my second time visiting this location, the results were the same. The staff was great and the drinks were awesome. I screwed up my drink order and they were cool about it. The food was ok but not what you would expect if it was fresh, made from scratch. It is Alberta ?

My dinner was cold. It tasted great. Maybe some training for the wait staff would be helpful. I love the food and servers and atmosphere and try to come as often as my budget permits. No I didn't complain. I should of mentioned it though.

Took our family here for dinner and it did not disappoint!The staff was extremely friendly, the food was amazing and the menu had lots of great options and portions were big!Will be back for sure.A true hidden gem in spruce!

By far the best Mexican food , I had a shrimp tower and aguachile and they both were on point , it's worth the trip as I live in south edmonton

Ordered through skip the dishes for dinner and was my first time trying it. They double stacked the tortillas for the tacos which I really appreciate since it doesn’t get wet and soggy while being delivered. Very fresh. Will eat again.

Came here for the first time after seeing the great reviews and boy were we disappointed. We ordered Mexican Nachos to start while we were looking through the large menu. For dinner we ordered the Cabos Chorizo and the Verde Rojas.So to start - our dinner came before the nachos and we were given the "our kitchen is busy" excuse on the appys. They brought the nachos about 5 minutes after we complained and dinner service was within 10 minutes of ordering - so I didnt really buy the 'kitchen is busy' - they just forgot. It does happen.Food flavour was ok - but it was cold, almost like seemed like left overs. That was my choice on the meal not knowing what it was - but it should have been served hot. Definitely not room temperature. And no it wasnt a 'cold' meal.The verde rojas (enchiladas) were ok - colours were there. Flavour was definitely there and they were warm. Again the meat was not hot - but chalking that up to the toppings (lettuce, sauce etc).The vibes were ok, the restaurant was nice and clean and overall a typical local Mexican style restuarant. The bulldogs were tasty.Overall - we weren't impressed. 3 stars because I cant go 2.5 for a very average experience.

First impression was the food is extremely expensive. Was still willing to give it a shot, until I seen the cook picking his nose...aggressively...like a child.

Always our first choice when wanting ceviche, spicy tacos, margaritas and more.

Skip the dishes delivered our very large order and it was short one burrito. The owner remade the burrito and drove it to us! The food is fantastic and the service is amazing!!!

Excellent food, great atmosphere, and if you like spice they will certainly deliver. Highly recommend this restaurant.
