Peking Way Chinese Cuisine

I really wanted to like this, but I can't lie the food is not good.

Been looking for a non-Edmonton Chinese place since moving to the area and gave them a shot. Looks wise the food and portions are 10/10. I was so excited to dig into the food when I got it. Then I tried it. The sweet and sour pork tastes like ketchup. Fried rice tastes like nothing, and ginger beef has zero spice to it. I waited a day and tried again without the pork since it was so bad, and on its own the ginger beef actually tasted like ketchup too. Nothing like ginger beef anywhere else. I bought leftovers for a couple days of food and just tossed it, it tastes that bad. Judging by the other reviews maybe it's a one off but bad enough I can't justify ever trying again.
People seemed nice and the restaurant itself looked decent, but in my 44 years on earth this is the first time I've said no to Chinese leftovers because it's inedible.

Ordered beef and broccoli. The beef was not recognizable as meat. More like stinky rubber. Obviously not made from scratch.

This was my first time ordering from the Spruce Grove location, and unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations. Compared to the excellent service I’ve consistently received at the St. Albert location
The staff at Spruce Grove were not professional, and overall, the customer service felt lacking. I truly believe that poor service brings down the whole experience, no matter how good the food is.

Peking Wok FANTASTIC!! The cozy atmosphere and exceptional wonton soup, with its rich broth and flavorful dumplings, left a lasting impression. The food overall is very good, i would definitely recommend. The friendly, attentive service made the experience even better. If you’re craving great Chinese food, don’t miss this place! 🍜✨

I've ordered from the spruce grove location a few times and it was always excellent. Until tonight, the almond chicken was way over cooked and chewy, very disappointing, because I know it's been much better every other time. No issues with the rest of the order though.

Best chinese food in town

I have ordered twice from the new St Albert location. Very generous portions and the food came very hot. I recommend the dinner for four. We love the spring rolls, special fried rice and beef with mixed vegetables.

Most bland food ever.

Absolutely amazing food. My wife loves Chinese food, but it always makes me feel sluggish afterwards. Not Pecking. The flavours are amazing, and the non-breaded options are spectacular. We ordered takeout and it was so fresh even after the drive home.

Peking Way is a small western chinese fast food restaurant. The food is good and the staff are pleasant. Try the buffet on Wednesday and Friday. This is a good place for a quick meal.

I didn’t eat there. We ordered delivery. It was the WORST Chinese food I have ever had. There were no descriptions or pics on skip so when I ordered chow mein I expected thin noodles. Instead they were thick and had little sauce and tasted dry and dough-y. The spareribs had no meat on them. Half the pieces were just bones. The chicken balls were the size of a loonie. And for $72 I expect fortune cookies. Won’t order from there again.
