Food is always great! I mostly come here for my lunch break and always look forward to the daily soup and sandwich combo! The soups and sandwiches are always delicious and no shortage of flavour! The girls who are working there are always a delight and have great energy, highly recommend

In a town desperate for decent coffee shops, this place is a breath of fresh air. For less than 10 bucks I had a coffee and BLT bagel breakfast. Staff were polite and speedy. The food was good; I enjoyed my black coffee. If I ever happen to be in Spruce Grove again, I will be back.

Perks has good coffee, but the flavored drinks consistently taste unflavored.
I’ve tried flavor shots and featured drinks hoping for something seasonal or fun. The base coffee is solid, but it’s disappointing to receive a plain-tasting drink each time.

Soupocalypse Now: A Tale of Two Cafés
If Spruce Grove and Stony Plain ever merged, the result would be a café so perfect it would need its own Netflix series.
Spruce Grove: Cozy but Soup-less
Atmosphere? 10/10. Warm and cozy like a hug from grandma.
Downside? No soup in winter. That’s not just a problem—it’s a crime against comfort food. It’s like going to a ski lodge and finding out they only serve popsicles.
Scones? Tiny. Like, “Is this a sample?” tiny. You need three just to feel emotionally stable.
Stony Plain: Pastry Paradise, Arctic Edition
Pastries? Absolute units. Big, bold, and worth every penny.
Downside? It’s cold. You need a jacket, a blanket, and possibly a survival kit.
But hey, at least you can cry into a giant cinnamon bun while you wait for feeling to return to your fingers.
Employees: The Real MVPs
Both locations have staff who deserve medals. They smile through chaos like they’re auditioning for a motivational poster. Meanwhile, customers are staging a silent protest over the soup situation—but still lining up like it’s Black Friday.
Final Verdict: The Dream Café
Combine Spruce Grove’s cozy vibe with Stony’s pastry game—and for the love of winter, ADD SOUP—and you’ve got a café so perfect it would break the internet. Until then, we’ll keep dreaming… and freezing… and ordering extra scones.

Good service and comfy area to sit
This is basically my new “I’ll just stop in for one drink” trap… because I always walk out with something extra. The staff are so friendly and the service is lightning fast — I swear they had my drink ready before my brain finished buffering.
The place has this cozy, hometown vibe that makes you want to pretend you’re working on your novel, even if you’re actually just scrolling emails. My latte was smooth, my baked treat mysteriously vanished (I blame its deliciousness), and somehow I left in a better mood than I arrived.
If you need a pick-me-up in Spruce Grove, this place delivers the perks in all the right ways.

We just moved to Spruce Grove and today was first time in Perks. Really like sweet ladies who work there. Coffee was great too. My kids love frappuccino and said it's the best drink ever. Definitely will return

It was pretty alright. Some good gluten free treat options and things to take home, chai latte was good, nice place to go with a library book.

This coffee shop is a real gem! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax, read, or meet with friends. The staff are friendly and attentive, always ready with a smile and happy to recommend drinks.
The coffee is excellent—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. Their cappuccino has the perfect balance of espresso and frothy milk, while the Americano is bold but never bitter. For tea lovers, the black milk tea is also delightful.
Snacks and pastries are fresh and tasty, complementing the drinks beautifully. The space is clean, well-lit, and has a cozy vibe with comfortable seating.
Overall, it’s a spot where quality, service, and atmosphere all come together. Definitely worth visiting, whether you’re a coffee enthusiast or just looking for a peaceful place to unwind.
