Salad was brown, hair in salad. Could not eat any of the food we paid for. This place needs to be condemned

If I could’ve given no stars I would. Super appalling, my food had a long hair. And the vegetable salad rolls didn’t even have veggies. And when I called to ask for refund or something to be replaced I got the cold turkey where they said “no we don’t do that, you eat or not. Not our responsibility” digusting behaviour please never eat here!!

For the last few weeks or so, whenever I call to order for pickup which ive done MANY times in the past, they answer the call, and I can hear the restaurant and talking, but no one talks to me or acknowledges anything and im sitting there for a while saying hello until I give up or order food from somewhere else... I gave them time to fix their phone problems, but I guess I wont be ordering from them anymore.... they used to be great call before, minus the serving portion problems being about half of what it should be... I dont get it and its honestly incredibly frustrating at this point. I will be taking my business elsewhere...

Had 6 colour vermicelli, found the meat lacking and portion on the small side. I will go back to the Vietnamese restaurant I usually go to but they were closed Tuesday

Red Chili Leaf – A Vietnamese Gem in Spruce Grove!
If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese flavors served with heart, Red Chili Leaf is a must-visit. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh herbs and sizzling spices sets the tone for a delicious experience. Their Five-Color Vermicelli Bowl is a standout—layered with grilled meats, crispy spring rolls, and vibrant veggies, all tied together with a rich, tangy fish sauce.

The Pho broth is soul-warming, infused with basil and bean sprouts, and perfect for chilly Alberta days. I also loved the Spicy Lemongrass Chicken and Peach Shrimp Salad Rolls—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated.

Service is warm and welcoming, and the owners go the extra mile to explain dishes and accommodate spice preferences. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, the portions are generous and the quality is consistent.

✨ A cozy spot that brings the taste of Vietnam to Spruce Grove—highly recommended for food lovers seeking bold flavors and comforting meals.

I was really disappointed in the food. We ordered takeout and it was supposed to be 20 minutes. It wasn't! We kept waiting and by the time we got the order the food was cold. Not sure if they lost it in the back or something but it shouldn't come from the kitchen cold. The portion sizes were shockingly small. I am not sure if there is new management but this place has gone down hill dramatically. It used to be really good food and great service. Save your money and find a different place for take-out.

I have been coming here since highschool and known the owner and she’s been so great to everyone and her workers, even remembers face and customers orders without writing it down 🙌🙌

You pay way too much for the amount you get. The fried rice was bland, the pho soup portions are small, and we didn’t get any bean sprouts, mint leaf, or lime with our soup. If it’s a Tuesday, and you really want Vietnamese food, suppress those cravings and wait for Brooklyn Tomato to be open.

Anne and her staff are amazing, it was my moms 80th birthday and she helped make it very special, the food, the service, the care , I can’t say enough good things about our evening. Her husband is an amazing cook and everything was steaming hot and so flavourful. I could eat those onion cakes everyday! Thank you for a great time with great food!!!

17$ for a half portion ? Came here expecting a decent portion like any other Vietnamese restaurant… got home and it looks like it was already half eaten . Not impressed.

We ordered for pick up on the weekend and it said 20 mins for our order to be ready so hubby waited and extra amount of time before going. He got there and was told another 20 min wait to which he said no it will be ready in 15 and the owner did not like that and started scolding him in her language. My food was cold when he got home with it. This used to be our favorite but now we will never go back.
