Had dinner last night at Tandoori. I haven't been here before. The restaurant wasnt busy due to the big snow we had. The food was was fantastic! We were asked at each dish ordered how much spicy we wanted. The dishes were large enough for 3 each. They have a Nan oven on premise and made the most delicious garlic nan. Great food

We recently visited an Indian restaurant in Canada during our family trip, and it was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was fresh and perfectly cooked.

The owner, who is also Indian, was very warm and welcoming, which made us feel at home even though we were far from our country. The hospitality and service were excellent.

We truly enjoyed our lunch and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Indian food and a friendly atmosphere. We will definitely visit again on our next trip

We first dined in at the restaurant, and after having such a great experience, we decided to order a large take-away for our home.
Everything was perfectly packed, fresh, and hygienic. The quantity was generous, and the presentation itself looked tempting.
The food tasted absolutely amazing — you can clearly feel the chef’s effort, balance of spices, and authentic flavors in every dish. From the curries to the rice, noodles, starters, and breads, everything was well-cooked and full of taste. Nothing felt oily or over-spiced, which made the meal even more enjoyable.
A special mention to the owner, Mr. Lokesh Jadon Thakur — such a humble, polite, and welcoming person. Meeting him made us feel genuinely good. His positive attitude and care for customers clearly reflect in the food quality and service.
Overall, it was a wonderful dine-in as well as take-away experience, with great taste, good quantity, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for both family meals and special occasions.

Truly an amazing place. The food was incredible. Great butter chicken and chicken biryani. We had some tasty gulab jamun, and tried their chai tea and chickpea salad. All was surprisingly delicious! They let you customize spice level and sweetness of tea if ypu ask, and the staff was very attentive. The place is clean, has a nice atmosphere, and the food was served promptly. I am surprised Spruce Grove has such a good spot for indian food! Would come back in a heart beat.

The food was flavorful, well-prepared, and served fresh.

The chilli gobhi was crispy and perfectly spiced, making it a great starter. The mixed veg pakora was hot and crunchy, with a nice balance of vegetables and seasoning. The tandoori roti was soft yet slightly crisp, pairing well with the gravies.

For the main course, the pindi chole stood out with its rich, authentic taste and aromatic spices. The paneer butter masala was creamy and mildly sweet, while the paneer lababdar had a deeper, more robust flavor. The chaap masala was tender and well-cooked.

I visited Tandoori Gourmet Restaurant and really enjoyed the food. The place is clean, cozy, and the staff are friendly.

The dishes were full of flavor:

Butter Chicken – creamy and rich, perfect with naan.

Tandoori Chicken – smoky and tender, cooked just right.

Paneer Tikka – soft paneer with spices, a great vegetarian choice.

Lamb Curry – hearty and delicious, with just the right spice.

Garlic Naan – warm and fresh, the best side for curries.

The service was quick, and the staff made sure everything was comfortable. Prices are fair, and portions are generous.

We recently ordered samosas and several Indian dishes from this restaurant, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The samosas were perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with flavorful, well-seasoned stuffing. They were fresh, not oily, and tasted just like authentic homemade samosas.

The Indian dishes were equally impressive. Each dish was rich in flavor, well-balanced with spices, and cooked to perfection. You can tell that the food is prepared with care and experience. The taste felt truly authentic, reminding us of traditional Indian home-style cooking rather than commercial food. The quality of ingredients was very good, and everything arrived hot and fresh.

This has been my favourite go to place for years. However I am extremely disappointed with how they downsized the rice… atleast offer a larger size. Dropping it $2 but losing more than half of what you use to get is crazy… I’m not sure why you can’t offer S - M - L sizes for the rice.
