We eat at Bistro56 on a regular basis and have enjoyed every meal . Tracy and her staff are always friendly and welcoming . This little gem is a must try dining spot.

Had a reservation booked for 7 and they said we couldn’t get in due to not having any tables available and visibly seen 3 open. Waiter was running all over table to table and heard multiple people have complaints of getting main dish prior to appetizers. On busier nights they should have more then one server

Love this food! So good! Last week we had the carnivore burger-outstanding, mashed potatoes, stir fry, roast beef. All very delicious! Today we had the lunch special of cheeseburgers and fries -so good! Huge patty and perfect fries!

Food is excellent everytime, service can be slower at half capacity which isnt the best, but they do their best to accomodate. The setting is good and makes for an enjoyable experience.

If you are looking for a great place and great quiet atmosphere this place is a must try. Food was delicious, the chicken Alfredo was cooked perfectly. The garlic bread was made with fresh bread.
The lady that helped was delightful.
Prices are very reasonable and lots of selection with menu.
I love trying out family owned restaurants because it supports local. St. Paul you have a hidden gem with this place.
I will be returning every time I am in town.

This is definitely one of the towns little secret gems ? worth a stop for sure. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was great. I had turkey and cranberry sandwich made with stuffing bread. It was great. I will be returning for sure on my next visit.

Limited menu. I had the special which was either microwaved or left under a heat lamp for far too long. Food was dry and tasteless. My wife had the pierogi lasagna. She says it was good but $22 for 8 pierogies in sauce with some cheese seems quite steep. Our server was quite nice and attentive. I probably won't be back.
The service from the waitress had me guessing she just may have started there. She lacked the know of what was on the menu, also other things she should have known. Also the portions of food for the main dishes were quite small for prices a person would be paying. I usually go to all kinds of restaurants and have no issues at all but this place idk if I will ever return.

This place never disappoints. We have been here multiple times and enjoyed our food every time. The wait staff was super friendly recommended some great choices. We recommend the dunkin beef, smothered turkey with the stuffing bread was so tasty. Husband had the popper burger and he said it was great as well. Daughter wants to come back for every meal just to have the dill pickle soup. It doesn't disappoint.
