Went to watch the Blue Jays! Looking for a sports bar with TV’s and decent pub food! Searched and got “The Hideaway “ ( in the back of Smitty’s. Well! Lots of TV’s tuned with sound on to watch a game! (No loud annoying music). Had great service! Wednesday was Wing night, but decided to go with the “Red Wine Boneless Beef Brisket “. No reason! Sounded good! Lol! The best meal I have eaten out in the last 9 months! WOW! Amazing flavour, with real mashed potatoes, tasty gravy and roasted mixed fresh vegetables “a medley of mixed carrots & baby bok choy” - super tasty! (cooked just right!). I travel lots! and eat everywhere in Alberta/Sk. The meal was to die for! Flavour with good portion and fair price. Looking to my next trip to St. Paul. Highly recommend stopping by the Hideaway, just behind Smitty’s on West-side of town on the main drag!

We have stopped at Hideaway Bar for lunch twice now driving through St Paul and had great experiences each time. This time I ordered fish and chips (with a poutine) and it was delicious. The batter on the fish is so crunchy and the portion size is generous, and the poutine was so tasty.. will for sure return the next time we are in the area!
