Amazing! Our firm has hired them a few times now and they never disappoint! Sue even discovered a few things from our staff on one day and was able to make adjustments for them for the following day! Tastes are fabulous! Our team has even said it was liking eating at someone’s house and everyone was thrilled each and every time! Menu was different each time and each time our team was very pleased! We will definitely continue to use them for our important client lunches and team conferences!

Very professional. Great communication. She ensured we had enough food for guests, touched base with us several times, provided us with some contacts for other food related items (cutlery, dishes, table cloths etc). We had roughly 100 people for our wedding and her and her team arrived on time, set up discretely, and the food was hot and delicious. Would recommend to anyone. We ordered the Ukrainian style dinner. Best of all, this all came at a very reasonable price.

Response to it AdminWe provided food for 425Alberta Health requires that any food that is on a buffet for close to 2 hours must be removed. So my staff did as required.The turkey was cooked the night before and does not sour unless left out. The pans we left of turkey for you were left cold so that you could take them back to the office and stay with in AHS guidelines.We were set up for 2 buffet tables. We discussed it for 4 months, than 24 hours before the event you advised you wanted 3 tables. That is 6 more chafers,and serving tools .You advised you would provide the additional volunteer to man the table, the chafers and tools.The volunteers were great, but you gave us chafers that had half the dishes missing, and no additional serving toolsWhen we got there the ovens had someone else's food in them.You asked us to do the meals at a discount which we were happy to do in exchange for the volunteers helping serve. If you wanted us to bring in more staff that should have been negotiated when we set the pricing in the beginning.You and several other guests raved to us about the food and how good it was, many came back for 2nd and 3rds.The food was a hit and the 3 tables went down to 2 and than 1 very fast. That alone means the food was being eaten.We provided take out containers for some people who could not attend and made up several plates of left overs that your staff took home. You do not take home sub par food.We thank you for having us and wish you all the best

Extremely disappointed with our experience. We recently organized an event and ordered 400 portions of food for approximately 300 attendees. There was a significant discrepancy between the ordered quantities and what was actually provided.Not only did we receive fewer portions than expected, but the quality of the food was also subpar. The turkey arrived cold, and the mashed potatoes, which were left over, were burnt and had a disturbing sour taste. Furthermore, it was disheartening to discover that some of the leftover food we had paid for was taken away by Dobre's staff without our consent, and to make matters worse, the leftover turkey that remained had gone sour.In addition to the food issues, they seemed ill-equipped and unprepared, lacking essential items such as extension cords. There were evident concerns regarding the overall staffing level, which impacted the smooth running of our event.Overall, our experience with Dobre Food Catering was highly unsatisfactory. We expected better service, especially considering the significant investment we made for our event. We would caution others against using this catering service unless significant improvements are made in both quantity control and food quality, as well as staff preparedness and professionalism.
