I wish there was more stars for service. Jen, our server was absolutely great. She gave us her recommendations and they were excellent! We really enjoyed our meal after a long day of skiing and traveling. I am very happy we chose to dine in. :0)
At the outset, let me state that the service was fine, consistent as usual. When people order fish and chips they often like vinegar with it.Ask for vinegar here and get water with a mild vinegar presence. If you go across the street to the Roadhouse, same experience. Coincidentally, same owners.Fish was greasy and bland, chips were also very old and reheated. My partner ordered Terriaki Chicken and mashed potatoes.It was obvious that the potatoes had not been cooked on the same day they were ordered. Dry, bland and pasty. Obviously old stock indifferently heated and presented.This USED to be THE high-end restaurant in Strathmore. Not anymore.For where they have placed themselves in the market and the price point they occupy this is poor performance.Also, this review is written after too many 'second chances', it's not the first example of mediocrity we've encountered.There are many less pretentious restaurants in Strathmore which offer much better product.You gotta do better, brand recognition has a very limited shelf life in a small town like that.

Food, atmosphere, and service were great. The food just took a little while, but we were a larger party. Good stop to watch the game after a day of paintball. Maybe don’t get the lemon pepper wings if you’re looking for a big lemonade flavour, but they’re very generous with their portions. Hot hot wings were 10/10.

Order Jambalaya for pickup just now. It was in a metal to go container, but was lukewarm to cold. I picked it up within 13 minutes of ordering it.Tasty, but not worth $28 with that in mind. The meal would have been more at home in a hospital cafeteria late in the evening for $12.

Traveling through Strathmore? Skip the fast food places and relax here with great food, service and atmosphere. The food is fresh and homemade, including the fries. And who else gives you a fresh chocolate chip cookie and the end of your meal? Awesome place!

Have been familiar with the station since I was a kid, and the food is consistently meh, and the service is usually okay with the off chance of getting a snobby teenager. Always love the atmosphere in here, the décor hasn't changed for decades and something about it is very welcoming and homey.
Visited Strathmore Station for liver and onions, but was not offered on the menu that day. So opted for the veal and meatloaf dishes. Both were good. Will call ahead next time as the liver and onions are fantastic.
