Forever my favourite place for takeout! Even being celiac, there are lots of options, and they're all super tasty, paying good attention to detail if you tweak an order.

Had spectacular food and service at Bamboo Hut. The coconut shrimp are to die for, and the staff are top notch. I've been here before, and it's always good. Definitely a Sylvan Lake staple, there's a reason they've been in business for so long.

It felt like finding a hidden treasure.

Very easy to miss out locating this place. At first site you may think twice entering, but trust me it's an amazing place.

Servers are kind and eager to help, the menu is a 2 pager and a few Chef Specials in another. They also serve drinks.

We went for Hot Thai Stir Fry - Chicken Shrimp - Tofu Curry - Fresh Fries with multiple sauce and toppings.

All the preps and flavours were just awesome. The portion size was XL.

Vegetarian options: Very much 30% of the menu

Parking: They have a free parking lot till the time you enter and exit the place. It's shared between 3 establishments. So it's more of first come first. Else paid street parking is almost everywhere.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm 70 years old and it was the worst dining experience of my life. I had a beef stir fry and the beef was all grissel. I couldn't even chew it. As i was starving I ate the rice and some peppers. When I finally let the waitress know about the beef she was extremely rude and shrugged her shoulders saying there's nothing she can do. The manager was nowhere around and couldn't be reached on his cell phone. Then they had the odasity to charge their own tip on the bill. And if all this wasn't bad enough, we were stuck in the back with no AC and it was 30 degrees out.
I would highly recommend not supporting this business. And I'm not just a complainer. This is the first bad review I ever had to give. So. You do the math!

In response to the owners comment. The waitress was run off her feet. I tried to get her attention at the beginning but everytime I motioned her I was ignored. I finally went to the front to mention my concern. In the meantime I ate my rice. A friend at our table waited 10 minutes for a take home box. Again we had to go to the front to get one.
The customer service is unacceptable. Everyone at the table saw. The meat could not even be cut with a knife!!!
Anyway. At least you responded. I was in customer service all my career days and your response is not giving the customer any satisfaction. You have a wonderful day as well.

Consistent quality! Delicious food!

The place we eat at every time we visit Sylvan Lake. We love this place! The service is always good, the food is amazing, the first sip of tomyum after a whole day swimming is just out of this world. The food portion and quality is soo soo good considering the cheap prices!! Pad thai poutine weirded me out first but try first before you judge. We’ll be back for more!!

Four of us went for lunch on Sunday, server was fast and friendly, food was very good and large portions. We had crispy wontons and pad tai, our friends had the monster bowl.

My wife and I shared 3 dishes. Fresh chicken and shrimp spring rolls , beef and broccoli and cashew chicken. All were very good. Our server Disa was very pleasant and helpful. We will be back.
