As a 25+ year resident of Sylvan Lake, this place has been my “go to” restaurant for Chinese Western food. Under current ownership, however, I am absolutely done with it. This past visit, #4 with new owners, was my last. I wanted to believe it was simply growing pains. At first it was “Your order will be ready for pick up in 15-20 minutes”…fast forward 75 minutes later, and I’m standing around 10+ disgruntled patrons. And yes, the menu is still the same, but it sure doesn’t taste the same. Dry ribs were excessively salty, bordering on inedible. The Ginger beef is battered to the point of a criminal offence, and the sauce is indeed gingery, IF you’re lucky to find any on your plate. The special fried rice was a quivering mass of leftover frozen vegetables and way too moist to enjoy. No, I shall not return, nor shall I recommend this place to friend or foe.

This place is very good. I order delivery here recently and it was delicious. The ginger beef was very crunchy and the sauce had a nice gingery flavor to it. The beef and broccoli tasted fresh and was hot hot when is arrived. Delivery was fast and the price was fair as well. Overall good experience.

The food here is disgusting. The ginger beef was soggy and very very gingery and very runny at the same time the chicken balls were not cooked. The rice was very, very bland and absolutely zero flavor. Also the also the sweet-and-sour pork was very runny and not even red the chicken bowl sauce was very runny and not even red the wonton soup was disgusting. No flavour terrible place never ever ever eat here.

I just ordered delivery...amazing!! So much food and the chopsuey is just how most of us remember it. (Actual bean Sprouts vs. Cabbage). Prompt friendly service and BIG portions. Highly recommend! Don't miss out!
