This store is a day care! No supervisors on shifts to control these children working there. No manager to take responsibility of the staff. Made me sit in drive through and didn’t take my order. They thought it was funny to leave me there so I pulled to the window. This is where you see them laughing and joking around. I had to tap on the window to get service. I complained and the staff had some lame excuse why my placing an order takes 10 minutes. Said she just got there (lie). Then when I asked for her name she said she was leaving and slammed the windows. I tapped again and asked for the manager and she said he isn’t here and again slammed the window. YOU can be sure I will never come back or recommend your business that is run like a daycare. You are the worst Dairy Queen ever!

So sad, used to be one of the best in central ab. Last 2x times going throught the drive thru, the food has not been up to par. The flavor is there but the food is barely warm. Quite disappointed as I drive away tonight and then find out fries are hot,yummy, burger not so much, barely warm again....maybe time to try everywhere else

I wish I could give it a 0/5 the customers do not care about the cleanliness of the place and the quality of the food at all. I politely asked for a new fries because they were soggy and cold while I was dining in and they demanded I pay again or keep what I was given. Horrible attitude from the young staff. Felt so betrayed from somewhere i support almost everywhere I visit but this has got to be the worst experience I’ve had with fast food ever.

Went to get some food today and got this , me and my boyfriend also asked for no pineapple on our banana spilt and replace with sprinkles. But didn’t do that either thank god one of us isn’t allergic to pineapple.

Visited this location July 29/24 @ about 6:00pm. Zero stars. Am blown away. Now, I get that it's summer holidays, tourism town, family oriented. What we experienced tonight was nothing less than being in a busy hallway at lunch in a crowded highschool. "Kids will be kids". Agreed. This was bizarre and disturbing. The swearing, screaming, yelling, rough play etc took over the whole facility. Even staff behind the counter and line up area included. No manager or anyone over the age of 17 in sight. When we both got our orders, we decided to go eat in the car instead of staying. It was too much. They were encroaching on everyone in the place. Our food was made promptly. Burger patties were dry and tough. My buffalo chicken wrap had dry meat as well. I feel bad for the elderly lady who walked in with a boy about 8yrs old. This is strictly a teen hang out, not friendly or safe. Sewage odor right when you come in. Sadly the only DQ in Sylvan. I assume that could be a reason why an owner wouldn't care how it's being run or represented. Automated responses for reviews show there is no real concern of problems. Giving the public a heads up is the goal of my review more so. Don't take your elderly or littles there.

I was in line, finally got to the front, them the one girl at the till got told to go help with ice cream or something. So I waited 11 minutes at the front of the line for some other girl to come ask if I've been helped. I said no, I've been here for 20 minutes and first in line with no help for 11 mins,.... she chuckles. Don't think there was a person working I'm there over 18. The manager is very bad at his/her job. They had 1 register open. Huge line up after the 1 16 year left for 11 minutes to help with drive thru. Never ever going to sylvan lake dq again. Usually takes 20 minutes for a meal which is ridiculous but waiting in line with no help for over 10 when you're next up? I'll draw the line. This place is run by a goof.
Ordered 3 rolo with extra caramel and add brownie there was no caramel at all and forget to put brownies pieces and still charge extra dollars for add on iteams. Also not a first time keep happening every single time.

Excellent service, friendly and I was amazed at the training proflvided to new employees right down to this. The new employee brought out the blizzard with a spoon that was accidentally covered in icecream on the handle. And management ended up calmly and professionally asked for her to replace the spoon completely and there was no awkward pauses or moments where I felt bad for accepting a new spoon, I know this seems minor but the way the two handled this situation was very promising that there is good management out there still and especially on a younger workforce learning the ropes in a position they have no experience in and again this to me was amazing and I look forward to supporting more of this in the future! Keep up the good work and kudos to you Team dairyqueen! I'll be back!
Parking: Large parking lot and properly planned out for the drive through unlike some other locations.
Kid-friendliness: Again boils down to management and how the team works fluently together and this location displayed a MAGNIFICENT teamwork oriented atmosphere! Awesome to see!
Wheelchair accessibility: Full wheel chair access through front door.

This is a very good Dairy Queen with great employees and the meals and treats have always been top quality for us. Very welcoming atmosphere.
The people here are so friendly and helpful! I always get my food quickly and they have never gotten my order wrong!
