Had the Butter chicken which is one of my favorite meals. Was the first time I have experienced it with dark chicken meat as it is customarily made with white . Not a fan completely changed the meals taste. The sauce was good !

We never usually order steak out as we are constantly disappointed but not tonight. I ordered the flat iron and my husband ordered the rib eye. Both were fantastic. We will definitely return here again! Thank you so much for your great service and atmosphere and wonderful ,tasty food.

The spot to eat at, when in Sylvan Lake. Shaved steak sandwich and Rosẽ pasta was delicious… definitely notches above your average. Staff was also super friendly. We will be back!

Came in last night and had probably one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I came in with my family and two of us had the fish and chips and the other two had a burger and a steak. We will definitely be coming back. The food was phenomenal and cooked perfectly (huge portions, but we nearly licked the plates clean until we had to tap out and ask for boxes🤪). Our server told us everything was handmade. Even our fish and chips was hand battered. Our server was incredibly kind and very attentive! When we asked about the history of how long this restaurant has been around. She spoke with so much pride and knowledge about the owners and how far they’ve come. She said that the work environment here is so close and she enjoys working under a family of owners. Which also shows a huge compliment towards the owners of the establishment and how well they treat their workers and how they feel grateful to be a part of something. Our server Lauren told us that we need to try out their other locations in red deer and gave us recommendations for things to have next time. I love trying new restaurants and knowing that the staff is happy to work in this establishment. It says a lot about the owners and the character of their staff! Looking forward to trying Red’s and Silo 76 here soon! But Lighthouse is a new number one for our family!

This was my first visit to this establishment. I ordered my food online and gave all the information required for my order. I ordered the Anchor burger with fries and the Smoked Gouda burger with fries and gravy. I paid for my food and included a small tip online. When I got home there was NO gravy in the bag. I ordered gravy, I paid for gravy and there was no gravy. It is little things like this that sour me on restaurants. The restaurant was not busy so the kitchen was not getting slammed. How hard is it to read the order and prepare the order…completely. I am undecided whether I will give this restaurant a second chance.

We heard good things about the food here and I do have to say the food was excellent. On January 20th we walked into the restaurant at 1:45 pm and stood there until 1:50 when we finally got seated. We ordered 2 drinks at 2:10 and got them at 2:13 when she took our order. We were just about to get up and leave. The restaurant was almost empty. The red haired waitress spent much of her time talking to a table full of guys and other staff. Was not impressed with the service at all. We will not be back. It would be nice if the 10% tip we left all went to the chefs!!! The tip reflecting bad service.

We both ordered the halibut and chips and were really impressed. The portions were large and the fish was cooked perfectly with a light batter that didn’t overpower it. The coleslaw wasn’t what we were expecting but it ended up being delicious, a nice twist on a classic side. The house lager was cold and refreshing and at only $9 it’s hard to beat. We will definitely be returning.

We really enjoyed our experience at the Lighthouse Eatery. The lounge is very comfortable with club chairs, booths or high tables against the window. The atmosphere is perfect; just the right light levels, decor and furnishings.
Our waitress was phenomenal! She was so patient with us when we couldn't decide what to order and came back several times to check on us. I wish I could remember her name as she was so friendly, attentive and efficient.
I ordered the Seafood pasta which was great flavors, but I would liked the pasta to be fettuccine or linguine as I feel it pairs better with the rose sauce.
My partner had the burger and said it tasted great, but the burger didn't bind well and patty fell apart easily.
I had the house white wine with was good. My partner had the smoked old fashioned which is a cool experience.
Our Airbnb host suggested this restaurant and I would definitely recommend!
