I eat out alot as part of my job, all over north America. Live in Calgary and also eat out alot there as well. Dropped in to the lighthouse on a whim, the service and food were beyond reproach. Highly, highly recommend this place. Shared the pesto prawn linguine, ribs, and the coconut shrimp, and the world famous carrot cake, all are 10s. In short, blown away by the quality, portions, service and price !! Rarely find a restaurant this good.
We attended with a larger group and several kids. The staff was great. Super helpful and attentive. Plus, the food was fantastic. Quality and portion size were perfect!! Would highly recommend!!
The eatery is perfectly fine. The decor is generic and the service was adequate. The food? It was ok.
Reflecting now though, I am unimpressed by the value proposition. The price per plate was closer to $30 than it was to $20, and at those prices I expect something pretty good. What you get? A low rent version of State and Main. The eatery is like any generic chain restaurant but not quite as good.
