Food is excellent, but they always seem to be short a staff member. Definitely a popular place and very reliable in a town where many restaurants seem to shut up when the tourists leave.

Came here at 1pm on a Tuesday and the place was packed. Only one waitress serving and making drinks and she was fantastic considering. The bacon jam on the chicken club was so so so good. Will be back just for that haha. Also had perogies as an appy and they were delicious too.

I've ate at Lodge 43 numerous times and it used to be a favourite of mine! I love the fish & chips, and mini yorkies and they have awesome gravy! This last time we went wasn't the best experience though, it was a busy baseball game night (but we arrived at 6:45 and game started at 9) so we expected slower service, but it was a twenty minute wait to get acknowledged by a waitress, then another 50 minutes for food to arrive. Our food wasn't the best and our waitress had a cold/flu to the point she had no voice, I understand trying to tough-it-out through your shift- but I never want want someone obviously sick handling my food, bringing my food, etc. I still gave three stars because I have had pleasant experiences in the past though.

We reserved tables for my Dad's 75th birthday for a group of 30. The Lodge staff were incredibly organized and efficient. Everyone was seated quickly, orders were taken and food came out fast. It was delicious! Everyone enjoyed their meal and the atmosphere was beautiful. Our server, Jessica was on the ball and went above and beyond to provide us with a wonderful experience. Thank you, Lodge 43 for an amazing evening!

Wing night on Wed and Thu. Had wings and steak bites and the food was excellent. Service was good especially for how busy the place was.
This place is pretty Meh. They never have any staff so expect to wait a long time for your mediocre pub food. They make a great ceasar and have a good variety of wing flavours!

I have never had a bad meal! Price is reasonable!! Shannon is our fave server! Love their specials! Wings! Wednesday & Thursday!! My family flew in from ON and they were thoroughly impressed by their wing night!! Would love a couple carrots and celery ! Especially when you are just ordering wings but ya !! It’s so good!!
