Was there last week for Ice Dragonboat event and this restaurant is directly across the road from the location. Coming in from -40 it felt so cozy and inviting…from wanting take out we decided to stay and enjoy our meal. Our server Hannah was great and her recommendations were on point…love the peaches and cream cocktail! Highly recommended for dinner or drinks—-either way its good food and great vibe!

Went last night for a comedy show, you’d think that if you’re selling tickets for an event, you would know how to organize the wait staff properly for adequate service. My table waited at least 20 minutes from being seated to even get a glass of water, let alone get to order a drink. We went up to the bar 3 times before getting a server to take our drink order, we ordered wine, thinking this would be quick…what’s quicker than pouring wine??? Another 15 minutes passed before getting 3 of the 4 glasses of wine ordered, not sure why all 4 glasses couldn’t be served together, but the waitress acknowledged that she would return with the 4th glass. We had to flag down the waitress who brought the wine, and remind her we never received the 4th glass, which she couldn’t remember not bringing. The 4th glass arrived about the same time the rest of us finished our first glass. The 3 of us ordered a second glass and the 3 glasses had visibly different amounts of wine in them? One glass was about half full, one about 1/3 fill the other had a splash of wine in it. There was no one to come by to even bring this up with, no one to ask how the meal was. We were ignored the whole evening. When it was time to leave we probably had a 30 minute window to dine and dash, not that I would ever do that, but I’ve been to other comedy shows and staff goes around as soon as tables are done and start settling bills. We were never even asked if we were done, or if we wanted anything else…not sure who trained this wait staff. Now, that being said the food was delicious, the comedians were great, so the evening wasn’t a total disappointment. But having 2-ex servers at our table we were floored by the incompetence of the management of the wait staff. I have no desire to return.

Over priced for the food you get. $21 for a bowl of soup in a bread dish. Small draft beer $9 . Most of the other items on the menu look over priced . This is a small town and the restaurant isn’t your high end restaurant but the prices sure are like one. Think twice about going back

We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere on a Sunday night in the winter time. The service was prompt and pleasant. They asked about any dietary restrictions before we started ordering, which was thoughtful. The food was all delicious - we enjoyed the Calamari, Fish Tacos, and SOB Burger. The drinks were also delightful. We will definitely come again and try out other options on the menu in the future!

Attempted to arrange a reservation with a phone call…was told to book online. Wasn’t able to book online, this establishment was not busy nor overbooked we just could not manoeuvre the online booking system.
With all of our travels we have never experienced such poor service!!
When the in house hostess is not connected to the outside hostess it’s an incomplete/broken system.
We booked at a popular destination in Red Deer, with a phone call instead.

The food has been excellent off and on. Great items disappear from the menu, though, so that's disappointing.
They are insanely busy, so they don't seem to care much about service. If you don't like it, the next customer will be hot on your heels. Often the wait staff is unconcerned with speed of service or attentiveness. Overall, we have had excellent food here and very average food. It's a toss-up.

Food was okay. I had the SOB burger which was decent, a bit too many jalapeños so majority came off. Other guests at our table had the chicken fingers, poke bowl and fish tacos, they did enjoy their food.
One downside which I find is a cash grab is they charge $1.00 for each refill of fountain pop. Make it included in the price of the pop, I have yet to come across another restaurant that charges for refills other than this place.

Came here again to try it last week with my husband to see if things have changed. Nothing has changed, and the service was terrible second time around. Nothing to get excited about
