This was the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I got the Moon Mist flavour - a blend of bubble gum, banana, and grape soda - and it was absolutely delicious. The waffle cone was fresh, homemade, and dipped perfectly. The staff were friendly too. Keep up the great work!

No instructions for the lineup, people keep budging in front, and the entire lineup was held up while they waited for one type of cone to be prepared in the back. Total chaos.

Always busy and tasty. a little pricy for just ice cream but that seems to be the way of the world. it's a place every one stops when they're in Syvlan.

The big moo was definately a go to when visiting Sylvan Lake. I remember visiting when I was a child.
The pricing however is a bit ridiculous. Single scoop 5.50(reasonable I guess) same price whether it's in a regular cone or a cup, double scoop in a waffle cone is over $10 and the scoops are not generous for the price.

Limited gluten free flavours, they will use a clean scoop but did not offer to scoop from a fresh bucket. No gluten free cone options.
There was a young kid behind the counter scooping his own ice cream, I assume he was allowed back there but a bit off putting seeing him hanging into the freezer to reach the ice cream.

Compared to several places in BC which are also extremely busy, these scoops are small & overpriced; makes this place super disappointing. We only visited this location once since it was closest to the beach. Needs improvement we won't be back.

Better off going to More Moo it's closer to the main parking lot I find they offer larger scoops & more attentive.

3000 flavours!!!! Well, not quite, but holy smokes they have a lot! Not cheap, but it's in the heart of tourist country, across the street from the beach, in the middle of August. Of course it's not cheap. And it's 30°C! Ice cream will save lives! Lol!

A bit on the pricey side for just foothills icecream

Good ice cream. Can't really pick a bad flavor. Quality of the ice cream is great. I found the waffle cones a bit on the sugary side. It's often very busy when the weather is nice.

Hope you like waiting. Went on a rainy slow day and didn’t get our food for 20 mins. Fast chickens I guess.

the customer service here is not good. I ordered soft serve and they tried to give it to me falling down the side of the cone. Instead of remaking it they tried to give me another cone to catch it all. They ended up remaking it because we asked twice and then they made my medium into a small. Kind of crazy to even think that is good customer service.

Ice cream scoops shoukd be a larger considering the price. Feel a little ripped off.

Very impressed with their organization. I love that they offer baby ice cream scoops, sooo many flavours including sugar free ones, and retail shopping to peruse after. Definitely coming back next time we staycation in Sylvan Lake!

This is a cool, eclectic Ice-cream shop with a large variety of flavours to choose from. You pay first and then select the flavours of your choice.

They also have burgers and hot dogs 🌭 here. Then over to the side they also have chocolate sweets similar to those that you find on the main street in Banff.

It is easy to find this place on the main drag facing the beach ⛱️ as it has a big red and white cow out front.

There is seating inside which we took advantage of after having walked a lot up and down the beach.

Apart from ice cream, dont buy anything else. Everything is extreme sugar. Wanna get diabetes? Buy their brownies or other stuff. Full of sugar no flavour. Freshly made with sugar and sugar.
