The Big Moo Ice Cream Parlor

I recently tried their scoop ice cream, and I must say, the quality and quantity were excellent. I tried several flavors, including Pistachio with Almonds, NY Cherry Cheesecake, and Moon Mist, and all were delicious.

While I was at the counter, I couldn’t find the Moon Mist flavor, so I asked a worker named Kingston for help. Not only did he let me know that it was kept inside, but he also took the time to explain the flavor to me in detail. Kingston went above and beyond—he could have easily told me it wasn’t available, but instead, he made sure I got the flavor I was looking for. I really appreciated his extra effort and excellent service.

On hot sunny days they run like a well oiled machine and the service is amazing. But not when it’s slow, save yourselves the hassle and steer clear. We went on a cold day and it was the worst service and after spending $30 on ice cream for two people we asked for an additional bowl as the ice cream was falling and they said only if we paid for it.

Tiny portions. Charge extra for sugar cones, and me and my group asked for two scoops each to receive one scoop and a half dollop on top. What a shame

As a proud resident of Sylvan Lake I always like supporting the local businesses and we frequent this place quite regularly! However, $15 for 2x waffle cones with 1 scoop is not only getting extremely expensive, but they are skimping BIG time on the size of the scoop. Very very disappointing

A little chaotic and could use a deep clean, but we loved the ice cream! Great flavors and reasonably priced.

The staff in here seemed to have no idea what was going on. We waited at the ice cream after paying to get our flavours, and the staff member looked at us and then deliberately chose to help the people behind us even though we were waiting #1 in line. When I pointed this out, she at first ignored me again and then finally took our order. We were standing in the spot the front staff told us to go to. It was super weird. I should mention I was completely nice about it, but the staff member was very rude. They do have a lot of flavours to choose from, but it isn’t homemade so nothing too special.

Ice cream is disgusting to be honest! But the staff and the place is nice also located just next to the lake.

Poor training for employees makes for a slightly embassing experience with friends. Employees should be trained for allergies.

Waited in line at the outside area then saw a sign that says to go inside if their is an allergy issue. Went inside then saw we had to ask for a manager to get allergy assistance, it makes you feel singled out and like the place lacks training for associates. We waited in 2 lines to say it's not worth the time to wait for a manager to do something any staff member should be trained on.

GREAT icecream, friendly staff. Best place to go in the summer
