Absolutely terrible experience at Driftwood, entirely because of an employee named Ishan. He has no customer service skills whatsoever. His communication was awful, his tone was disrespectful, and his attitude was straight-up hostile. It felt like he didn’t want to be there and took it out on customers. Simple questions were met with arrogance and impatience, which is unacceptable in any customer-facing role. If this is the kind of behavior Driftwood allows, that says a lot about their standards. Completely ruined the experience and I will not be returning.

Food was ok, the service was trash, absolutely the most terrible waitress i have ever encountered, i wish i can give her -5 stars, slow, didn’t even check on us, takes forever to serve us when there was only 4-5 tables only to serve

Kids loved sitting under the airplane! Worth the trip just for the vibes. Food was affordable and service was excellent, but it's just your typical bar fare. They had music playing, but not so loud that it was irritating. Greek salad wasn't good but Big Kahuna burger was delicious.

Go for the fun patio vibes and the drinks, not the food. Nearly everything on their appetizer menu (which is all they had for our 7:30 reso) was overcooked and seemed like it came from a box of frozen heat & eats. The jalapeño popper dip was good, otherwise just enjoy the cocktails and fun atmosphere.

Wouldn’t come back here. Food felt like they bought it at a grocery store from the frozen area, no flavour at all.
I ordered a Margarita and it was served with no tequila, when I mentioned it, the waitress told me they did put Tequila but the “Mango flavour didn’t allow me to feel the alcohol”, and this was a short glass, you should feel the flavour no matter what.
We ordered a burger, fish and chips and jerk chicken, and I can tell you that food from a hospital has more flavour. Also mozarella sticks I never got but was charged for it (realized later so that’s on me).
The place is cool and staff was friendly, but that’s it.
We spent $140 and was not worth it.
You guys could improve A LOT!

Went there for lunch today and sat outside on the patio. The Caprese chicken and Greek salad (with chicken) were both tasty, well-priced, and the salad was definitely a good size! Our server was really attentive and friendly; we would definitely return :)

I don’t know why it’s not rather higher than it is because I loved it there. The outdoor patio is huge with a really cool plane over. The straw hut like umbrellas give it a vacation vibe. The food was good and our waitress was really sweet I wish I got her name. I would definitely go there again when im in sylvan lake.

We went for lunch at the Driftwood today. It was a cute tropical atmosphere, but the service was not great, we waited over 30 minutes for our food when it came the pulled pork tacos and pulled pork sandwich were dry, my burger and onion rings were ice cold, they had obviously been sitting for awhile. They insisted on remaking my burger and onion rings, but by the time it came out I had to get it in a to go container. I now got home and went to reheat my lunch and the burger is almost burnt. It would be a great place to go for a couple drinks on a Saturday night, but I don't recommend going there to eat.

I’ll be honest, previous reviews had me doubting our choice but I’m glad I gave them a chance because I we had an incredible time at The Driftwood! I ordered the smoked pulled pork sandwich with sweet fries, and it was delicious, it was tender, flavourful, and honestly, I could have just had the sweet fries on their own. They were that good! My husband went for the fish and chips, and he was equally impressed stating that he batter was crispy, and the fish was cooked perfectly.

The Guinness is how I imagine it would be poured and served in Ireland, it was ideal temperature…just spot on. It’s hard to find a perfect Guinness. And the Long Island Iced Teas definitely hit the spot too.

What really stood out, was the service. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. We were always taken care of, but never felt rushed or interrupted. It’s a fine balance, and they nailed it.

The view of the Harrier was a fantastic bonus, adding something extra to the whole experience. And while we didn’t bring our dogs, we’ll definitely be bringing them next time. The pups there were treated just as well as the other guests, and a water bowl that was constantly refilled.

All in all, The Driftwood far exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back!

The food we ordered was great, service was excellent. My only complaint is that they need more vegetarian main options, although the appy portions were very large (half nachos was massive, can’t even imagine the full size).
