June 3 25 First off, there are new owners. Food was exceptional!, I would give them 6 stars.. These people can really cook. The battered deep fried shrimp, crisp on the outside, spongy inside surrounding the shrimp, absolutely perfect, best I have ever had over 40 years. The Singapore noodles, how could they make it better, I honestly don't know. Portion size, quality like tasty shrimp, nicely done beef, not greasy---we all notice this comment from others on other Chinese restaurants, these people cover all the bases. As someone who has owned restaurants I really focus on the food. A restaurant can always be cleaned for instance, but these people have the key to longevity, excellent recipes and excellent food. Please give them a try, I am very sure you won't be disappointed. And, thank you to the Wok Star for such a memorable Chinese food experience.

Their Crispy Pata was perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and tender inside, and the sauce had a lovely balance of sweet and savory flavors. The best! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

WOK STAR TAKEOUT RESTAURANT ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ WE WOULD GIVE 8 STARS, I googled Chinese restaurants in Sylvan Lake and Wok Star came up, along with two other restaurants we have tried before. We read the menu got excited, we want good Chinese food that's not so greasy and full of MSG (whatever is often put into foods to help keep longer? = doesn't agree with my stomach) so as our mouths were watering the boyfriend called and he ordered with ease he didn't have to repeat, repeat, repeat! the ordering process went AMAZING which doesn't seem to happen often these days! I even gave him a kiss after and said "wow thats the first time everything we wondered about and ordered was perfectly allowed, no negotiation or compromises! They even agreed to picking up a Cake from DQ for our 2yrs birthday", (as my truck wouldn't start) WHEN THE FOOD AND CAKE ARRIVED WE WERE SO PLEASED. IT WAS LIKE PERFECTLY HEALTHY CHINESE NOT GREASY, AGREED WITH STOMACH, FRESH, I WOULD SAY IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT THE FOOD WAS COOKED WITH LOVE! GREAT JOB WOK STAR YOUS MADE OUR FAMILY HAPPY AND A PERFECT BIRTHDAY SUPPER FOR OUR BOY!!! I couldn't believe our 4yr old had seconds! and said over and over again "wow this is really yummy!" this statement never happens he's picky! ALSO VERY WELL PRICED FOR SERVING SIZE IS BANG ON, IN OUR OPINION. GO TRY WOK STAR TODAY!!!

I ordered the Wonton soup from WokStar today. It was amazzzzing! It was a large portion, I couldn't finish it, lots of flavor and their customer service is first rate. I will be back.

Just moved to Sylvan Lake and thought, well, the one in Calgary is good. This one I won't go back to. What a rip off the salad wrap had one shrimp cut in two, I get it, saving money, but come on, slice two in half and put that in. The peanut sauce was very little and disgusting.

Two dinners for one. I didn’t enjoy anything GingerBeef had an odd vinegar taste very disappointed and won’t go back. My wife thought the fried five and chop suey was ok - I didn’t.

I ordered filipino chicken pancit bihon the food is not good no taste it taste nothing. But the service is fast and very excellent. Its just the FOOD ITSELF the price is not worth it. I will not order next time

I ordered pad thai with shrimp but they calculated the price incorrectly, we will add $5 to the price when I noticed the mistake, they apologized and corrected it, but when I picked up the food and came home, I opened it and discovered that it was pad thai with chicken (not shrimp) and that was absolutely not what I wanted, plus I asked for rice noodles and they put regular noodles. I had to throw away my dinner. Sad.

Amazing food! Daughter loved the coconut curry and my spicy noodles kicked butt! But those crab Rangoon’s ?Lots for your money great people! Get there!

First time there tonight, and I'll definitely go back. The women behind the counter was really helpful with recommendations. I had the Lumpia Shanghai and the Coconut Thai Chicken Curry wok bowl. The lumpia were great and the wok bowl is amazing. The portion is huge.
